Outdoor Fun...

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and the theme this month is...
Outdoor Fun!
I made a birthday card featuring a fun dog image from Bugaboo Stamps... it's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Penny Black. I used a MFT stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink for the sun rays, Avery Elle dies for the stitched clouds & rectangle and the sea shells were cut with a Momenta die.

Hope your Birthday is PAR-fect!

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and the theme this month is...
Something Sporty
My card features a fun image from Bugaboo Stamps... it's colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. I used a Whimsy Stamps die for the stitched zig zag rectangle, SSS dies for the stitched rectangles and MFT dies for the fishtail flags. The papers are from my stash and I even added a tiny strip of numbers to represent 18 holes of golf :)

Flowers for Mom...

Hello everyone... 

Before all of the Mother's Day challenges end I wanted to pop in real quick to share a couple of cards! :)

They feature a beautiful image from Bugaboo Stamps and they were colored with Copics. All edges were distressed and the backgrounds were created with Simon Say Stamp Grid stencil and distress inks.
I used Avery Elle and Pink & Main dies for the stitched rectangles and the sentiments are from Hero Arts and Wplus9 stamp.

Jolly Snowman...

Good morning everyone! 

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and this month we want to see a Snowman on your card!
My card features a cute snowman from Bugaboo Stamps... it's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Clearly Besotted. I used a Whimsy Stamps die for the zig zag rectangle, a Pink & Main die for the rounded rectangle and a MFT die for the fishtail flag. The papers are from Carta Bella and to finish it up I added a few punched corners.

you are timeless...

Good morning everyone!

Today is the start of a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and the theme this time is Big Birthdays ending in a 0 or 5.
I made a card for my stepfather who turns 75 in May... my mom and stepdad married 36+ years ago and we couldn't of asked for a better dad! :)
I used a fun Bugaboo image and colored it with Copics. The background paper is from Deja Vu and I added a few clocks using a stencil from TCW. I used two different stamp sets for the sentiment and the numbers were cut with a Tim Holtz/Sizzix die.

Autumn Birthday Card...

 Good morning everyone! 

I have several family members who have birthdays this month so I wanted to share one of the cards that I made! :) It features a cute image from Bugaboo Stamps and it's colored with Copics. The papers are from Echo Park and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I used Avery Elle dies for the stitched rectangles and MFT dies for the fishtail flag and flowers. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added a few gold sequins.

Red, White & Blue...

Good morning everyone! 

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and this time we want to see your Red, White & Blue cards.

I love working with these colors so I have a couple of cards to share with you today :) They feature cute Bugaboo Stamps images, they are colored with Copics and the papers are from Pebbles & TCW.
Other supplies used on my 1st card: Pink & Main stitched rounded rectangle die, Elizabeth Craft Designs scallop die, Misc. stitched square die and the sentiment was computer generated 
I really like how my birthday card below turned out! She was so fun to color and I went a little crazy with the highlights on her blue hair! LOL!
Other supplies used on this card: My Favorite Things dies for the fishtail flag & flowers, Pink & Main dies for the stitched rounded rectangles, a circle sentiment from Whimsy Stamps and a white Posca pen

a little mermaid...

Good morning everyone! 

Today I wanted to share a fun card using a couple of new crafting goodies and a cute mermaid from Bugaboo stamps!  
I made an underwater scene with my new 'Sea Animals' dies from Spellbinders and some Shimmery Goodness medium from The Crafter's Workshop. The background was created with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide Ink, once dry I stenciled some sea like plants using a Simon Says Stamp flora stencil and Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Then I applied my Shimmery Goodness through the My Favorite Things Confetti stencil. I love this medium and it's so shimmery IRL... I can't wait to use it again!

jingle bells...

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and the theme this month is Bells!
My card features a cute snowman from Bugaboo Stamps... It's colored with Copics, fussy cut out and then I added a few highlights with a white Posca Pen. The background was created with Mermaid Lagoon Oxide ink, modeling paste and Simon Says Stamps Falling Snow Stencil. I used Avery Elle dies for the dotted border & stitch rectangle and the sentiment is an old $1 stamp from Michaels.

Bugaboo Easter Cards...

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing a few of the Easter cards that I donated to my Local Ronald McDonald House... When I checked with them last week I was so happy to hear that they still wanted the cards! So with the 'social distancing' guidelines in place I was able to drop off a large box of cards! :) I hope they brighten a child's day!! 
They feature cute images from Bugaboo Stamps and are colored with Copics. I colored the first two lime green and purple but they look blue in the photo especially the one on the right :( I used Penny Black & Avery Elle dies for the stitched rectangles and My Favorite Things dies for the stitched square, fishtail flags and flowers. I finished them off with a  little detailing with a white Posca pen, enamel dots and Nuvo Crystal Drops.

Good morning everyone!

My card features the cute Deer Duo image from Bugaboo Stamps and it's colored with Copics. The paper is from Pink & Main- the Frosty collection and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I used a Sizzix die for the dotted rectangle, a Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle, a MFT die for the stitched rounded rectangle and the bow was cut with Spellbinders die.

2 more Bugaboo Birthday Bash cards!

Good afternoon everyone! 
I'm back with a couple more Bugaboo Stamps Birthday Bash cards :)

On my first card I used the adorable Bobblehead Farmer and one of the crows from the Crow Trio... the sentiments are from My Favorite Things and The Cat's Pajamas. 
Other Supplies: Copics, Kaisercraft's Waffle embossing folder, MFT Sunrise Radiating Rays stencil, distress oxide inks, MFT cornstalk & stitched circle die, Memory Box die for the fence and a Pink & Main die for the stitched rounded rectangle.

Winter Blues

My card features the adorable Winter Kidz with Puppy image from Bugaboo Stamps. I colored it with Copics and then added some Picket Fence Distress Stickles. The sentiments are from Simon Says Stamp and Reverse Confetti. I used a Pink & Main die for the stitched rounded rectangle, a MFT die for the fishtail flag and the stitched square die is from Simon Says Stamp.

Birthday sMOOches

Good morning everyone!

Bugaboo Stamps is celebrating their 10th Annual Birthday Bash and the theme this year is Down on the Farm! I love working with these adorable images so I thought I would play along in a few of the challenges this week!
Today's card features the cute Bobblehead farm cow and it's colored with Copics. The die cut sentiment is from My Favorite Things and the stamped sentiment is from Paper Smooches. I used a Pink & Main die for the stitched rounded rectangle, a My Favorite Things die for the stitched scalloped border and the stitched clouds were cut with a Taylored Expressions die. For the background- I sponged a piece of mixed media paper with Mermaid Lagoon & Cracked Pistachio oxide inks, once dry I added Mermaid Lagoon ink to Kaisercraft's Waffle embossing folder, spritzed it with water and then ran it through my Cuttlebug... I really like how it turned out!

For a Child...

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year!!

Today is the start of a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and this month we would
like you to create a card for a child. My cards feature a fun image from Bugaboo Stamps and the sentiment is included :) I love the sentiment... perfect for a child! 

The images are colored with Copics and on this card I used My Favorite Things pierced rectangles, Carta Bella papers and white glitter enamel dots. 
And on the card below I used Avery Elle & My Favorite Things stitched dies and a Cuttlebug die for the snowflakes. The paper is from Bazzill and to finish it up I added sequins and some shimmer with a gold glitter pen.

Thanksgiving Turkey

Good morning everyone!

Just a quick post from me today to share a Thanksgiving card and it features a cute image from Bugaboo Stamps!
She's colored with Copics and the papers are from Echo Park. I used a Sizzix die for the dotted rectangle, a Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangles and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added a few punched maple leaves.

Colorful Halloween Cards...

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a couple of colorful Halloween cards to share...
The cute little witch is from Bugaboo Stamps- she's colored with Copics and the 'Boo' sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. All papers are from Doodlebug design along with the images on the right. I used My Favorite Things dies for the stitched circles & fishtail flag, the large stitched rectangles are from Avery Elle and Pink & Main. To finish them up I added Apple Green Nuvo Crystal Drops and there you have it... a couple of not too spooky Halloween cards :)

A new challenge starts today at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we have a recipe for you to follow: 1 focal point, 1 sentiment, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments. 
I made a birthday card and it features a fabulous image from Bugaboo Stamps and it's colored with Copics. I used Pink & Main dies for the stitched rounded rectangles and Cuttlebug dies for the asterisk flowers. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added some sequins.

Somebunny Loves You

Hello everyone, Happy Saturday!

I wanted to pop in today and share a Easter card with you...
It features the adorable Tulip Bunny image from Bugaboo Stamps... it's colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. I used My Favorite Things dies for the stitched flowers, pierced rectangle and fishtail flag. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle, a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle and a Simon Says Stamp die for the stitched square. The little bunny in the corner was cut with a Poppy Stamps die and the heart paper is from My Favorite Things.
