More nail polish art! :)

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing another Nail Polish Art card with you... it's our current challenge over at Back to Basics and Beyond. Please see the previous post if you would like a link to a great tutorial or see my other nail polish art card :)
This time I used 3 colors to create my nail polish marbling... a chartreuse, sky blue and a cheap black and I really like how it turned out! I used Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamp set- the images were colored with Copics and the sentiment was heat embossed with white powder. I created the paw print with punches and used a burlap folder for the embossing. I used My Favorite Things dies for the circles and fishtail flag, a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle and a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle.

Quinn and Maddie (our fur babies) gave this card to their daddy Sunday for Father's Day and he loved it!

Thanks so much for stopping by and taking the time to leave a comment!

I merged a few of the images together, colored them with Copics and the sentiment is from Studio g. I used Simon Says Stamp and Lifestyle Crafts dies to cut everything out and there you have it... two masculine cards with a very clean design :)

Transportation...

Good morning everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.

This week it's my turn to host the challenge and I chose the theme...
TRANSPORTATION
So think Planes, Trains and Automobiles and any form of transportation will do... Bikes, Boats, Hot Air Balloons etc.

I decided to make a couple of Father's Day cards with Tim Holtz "The Journey" stamp set...
On my first card I used the vintage truck, ticket and receipt from the set- they are stamped with Black Onyx ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The bg is embossed with the Paper Studio Gears folder and the polka-dot paper is from Bazzill. The key and gears were cut with Tim Holtz dies and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used Vintage Photo Distress ink for the distressing and the metal round clip is from my stash.

For my second card I stamped the vintage car with VersaMark ink and embossed it with black embossing powder. The bg is embossed with the Paper Studio Postage Stamp folder and I used Pumice Stone Distress ink for the distressing. The key charm and screw brads are from my stash.

That's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the challenge blog to see the fabulous creations by the other team members!

Vintage Father's Day

Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's
letter is... J for Journey!
For my DT project I made a couple of Father's Day cards.  My first card features a fabulous image from Free Vintage Digital Stamps...
and my second card features another awesome free digital image from Create with TLC.

I decided to challenge myself and create some Vintage style cards.   I find it very difficult to create something that looks aged and distressed... but I have to say I am very pleased with the way they turned out!!
After printing the images on cream cs I ran them through my Cuttlebug with a piece of burlap between the plates... it adds a little bit of texture and I love it!  I saw this wonderful tutorial over at Dora's blog so I gave it a try!   The dp and die cuts are from the World Traveler collection by Teresa Collins, the tag was cut with a Cuttlebug die and the letters are cut out with the Sizzix/Tim Holtz Typeset die.
I hope you can join us and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and check out the fabulous inspiration from the DT!
Have a wonderful weekend and thanks so much for stopping by!
