Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is Pretty Papers so we would like you to use 2 or more pattern papers. 

My card features a cute Riley image... it's stamped with black licorice ink onto cream cardstock and colored with Copics. I used 4 different pattern papers from My Minds Eye and the sentiment is from Wplus9. I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the large stitched rectangle and My Favorite Things dies for the flowers, stitched circle and fishtail flag. To finish it up I added gold sequins and twine with a tiny punched heart.

Shabby Chic Riley...

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday!

Today starts a new challenge at Crafty Friends and this time we would like to see your CUTE creations!  

For my card I decided to use my very old but very loved Riley with Flowers stamp... he's stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink and colored with Copics. I created the flowers with a MFT die and I used a Fiskars punch for the corners. I distressed all of the edges and added some pearls to give it a bit of a Shabby Chic feel :)

Hello everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is...R for Ribbon!

A super easy challenge for everyone!

I decided to make a fall shaker card featuring the adorable Wheat Riley! He's stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Stampendous. The papers are from BoBunny and I used MFT dies for the stitched frame, pierced fishtail flag and the cornstalk. I filled the shaker with tiny punched maple leaves, confetti and sequins... and to finish it up I added my hand dyed ribbon.

I used MFT dies for the Pierced Fishtail Flags & Stitched Circle frame and a Poppy Stamp die for the stitched buttons. The papers are from Bazzill & MME and to finish it up I added some cream colored twine.

 It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!

Autumn Leaves! 

I decided to use my adorable Wheat Riley image again, I love this little moose! :) He's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and I added a bit of shading with Prisma pencils. For the sentiment I painted some chipboard letters and then covered them with Rock Candy Distress Stickles, the papers are from Bo Bunny- the Apple Cider collection. The fence was cut with a MB die, I used a MFT die for the Cornstalk and a QuicKutz die for the large leaves in the corner... punched some tiny leaves, added a touch of Vintage Photo Distress ink... and it's done!

This month over at House of Cards we have a super easy theme... Use your punches and/or Dies and this week the Fun & Cute team get to show off their creations!  

For my DT card I used the adorable Wheat Riley image from Riley and Company... It's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from K&Company & Bo Bunny. I used a $1 punch for the tiny leaves, a EK Sucsess punch for the corners and a MFT die for the Cornstalk. Paper pierced around the scallop... added the button and twine and there you have it!

Riley with Flowers

Happy Friday everyone! 

Today I wanted to share a couple of Riley and Company cards that I made... 

The images are stamped with Memento black ink and colored with Copics. The card on the left was embossed with the CB Houndstooth folder, I used a CB die for the flowers and the circle sentiment & ticket are from Whimsy Stamps. On the right... I used the Rose Creations nesties for the flowers and stamped the corners with VersaMark using a Studio G stamp. Vintage Photo ink was used for the distressing, the papers are from K&Company & EK Success and I added pearls to finish them up.

For my DT card I used an adorable stamp from Riley and Company... It's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics.  The sentiment is computer generated, the papers are from The Paper Studio and BasicGrey. I cut the palm tree with a QuicKutz die, I used a CB die for the fish and the corner was cut with a Spellbinder Gold corner die... I used Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the distressing.

Today is the start of a new challenge at House of Cards and this time we have a fabulous sketch for you to work with...

AND from now on you will have two weeks to play along!  You can make either a Fun/Cute Style card (like mine) or a Shabby/Vintage Style card or BOTH! :) 

For my DT card I used an adorable stamp from Riley and Company that I won!  He's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink, colored with Copics and then I added glossy accents to the smiley face. The sentiment is from MFT and the papers are from Jillibean Soup & Recollections.  I used a MFT for the Squiggle border and a QuicKuts die for the corners... added my ribbon and Voila- all done!
I made a few of these and will add them to my OWH box... I'm sure they will brighten someone's day! :)

Good Morning Everyone! 

I'm happy to be posting today as a Guest Designer for Craft It Up & Link It Up Linky Party hosted by Tara of Craftin Desert Divas! Thank you Tara!  The challenge theme is Autumn/Fall and you have two weeks to play along... the more you link up the better chance you have to win some fabulous prizes!

Here's what I created for the Linky Party...

I stamped the adorable Wheat Riley image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored him with Copics.  The papers are from Bo Bunny- Apple Cider collection, I used a $1 stamp for the sentiment and a $1 punch for the tiny leaves-both from Michales.  The tree & fishtail flags were cut with MFT dies and the tag was cut with an CB die.  To finish it up I added some hand dyed seam binding and gems.

Good afternoon everyone and Happy Friday!

  Just a quick post today to show you the card that I made with my new super sweet Riley Stamp & Sentiment!  I think this image is sooo cute and I love the sentiment!!  

I stamped my image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics.  I fussy cut it out and popped it up with some foam tape onto a Kraft circle embossed with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder. I used a MFT die for the scalloped border and miscellaneous punches were used for the heart in the corner.  The paper & pearls are from my stash and to finish it up I added a hand dyed bow and button.

Very Exciting News and Riley!!

Hello everyone! I have some very exciting news to share with you today!  I have been asked to join the super talented DT over at Moving Along With The Times!! WOOHOO!  I'm so excited and look forward to working with such a friendly team!  I will post my first card in January so stay tuned! :)

Now, I have a card to share with you...

The current challenge over at Riley and Company is "Inspired by a Christmas Song" so I thought I would play along!  My card is actually inspired by two Christmas songs... Home for the Holidays and Colorado Christmas... where we live!    

I chose this adorable Sleepy Riley and gave him a Christmas makeover!  Isn't he just the sweetest in his Christmas Jammies?!!  Riley is colored with Copics and the bg is embossed with the Sizzix Dots folder.  The papers are from The Paper Studio and the sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michales.  I used an EK Success punch for the corners, a CB die for the pine trees and tied on a tiny red bow it finish it up!

Happy Thanksgiving

Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday!
Today I wanted to share with you a Tent Topper card that I made for my mother and father-In-law!  I'm so blessed because I have the BEST In-laws ever!!  They live in Arizona and we are staying here in Colorado for Thanksgiving so I wanted to make sure they received a card!  

This adorable moose is colored with Copics and the bg is embossed with a woodgrain folder.  Now, I know the circle portion of this card might look familiar because I kinda CASEd myself... although, I did color Riley's overalls and banjo different! :) The sentiment is computer generated and the paper is from The Paper Studio.  The leaves were cut with an QuicKutz die and I used a MFT die for the mini Pennants.  Punched out a few stars and there you have it!

Pumpkin Patch Riley

Good Morning everyone!  

Just a quick post today to show you a fall card that I made with this adorable Riley image!
I stamped this little cutie with Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copics, for the background I did a little sponging to create the clouds and grass. The papers are from K&Co. and Echo Park.  I used a tiny circle punch and an alphabet stamp set for the sentiment.  Added my buttons and dyed ribbon to finish it up!

Hello everyone!  I have a super fun card to share with you today... 

The challenge over at Riley and Company is to create a Scrapling.  I've never created a Scrapling before but basically you use up your scraps and the base of your card cannot be wider than 2.5 inches...  you can have wider pieces hanging over the edge if you want! :) 

OMGosh this was so fun to create and I love how it turned out!  For my image I used the adorable Wheat Riley and he's colored with Copics.  The circle bg is embossed with a woodgrain folder and dp is from K&Co.   The sentiment is a $1 stamp I've had for years and the maple leaf buttons are from my stash.  The wheat looking stuff is courtesy of the field we live next to and I dyed some seam binding to match!
