Best Friends Forever!

Happy Friday everyone!  
I'm back with my second post for today! :)

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... 
F for Friendship/Friends!
For my DT card I chose this adorable BFF Mermaids image from Michelle Perkett and the sentiment is included! It's colored with Copics and I used Vintage Photo ink for the distressing. I used a Momenta die for the shells & Sea Horse and the corner was cut with a Spellbinder die. The paper is from MME and I used Darice Damask folder for the embossing... added a few gems and there you have it!

Lots of Spooky Fun

Happy Saturday everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is...
Halloween!
For my DT card I chose this adorable Spooky Sally image from Michelle Perkett to work with and the sentiment is included! She's colored with Copics, the corners were cut with a QuicKutz die and the lime green spider paper is from the $1 bin at Target.  I used MS punch for the bats and added a ton of black extra fine glitter... and this time you can see all of the sparkle! I have such a hard time getting a good picture when I use glitter, so I'm very happy with this photo! :)

It's Your Day!

Happy Friday everyone! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is Q for...  Fit For A Queen!  We want to see Jewels or Gemstones!  
For my creation I chose this adorable little girl from Michelle Perkett Studio to work with! She's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Fiskars.  The bg is embossed with the Sizzix dots folder and the paper is Cosmo Cricket.  The flowers are cut with an MFT die... the gemstones, ribbon and button are all from my stash.

Girly Party Dress

Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's
letter is... L for Lace!
For my creation I chose this adorable Girly Party Dress image from Michelle Perkett Studio to work with!  She's colored with Copics and the sentiment is Hero Arts.  The rolled scalloped flower and flourish are cut with MFT dies.  The paper, button and pearls are all from my stash and I dyed the lace to match!

Michelle's Perketts Studios Friendship Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to my stop on the hop! If you've arrived here from Marilyn's wonderful blog you are in the right place, if not pop over to Michelle's blog to start! Today's Hop is dedicated to the Michelle Perketts Design Team which I was a part of for the last 6 months! WOW 6 months have gone by already...and today is my last post as a Michelle Perkett Studio Mermaid. So I wanted to say "THANK YOU" to Michelle for the wonderful opportunity to be part of your team and the chance to work with your awesome images!! OM Gosh they are so unique and gorgeous...and sooo FUN to color!! I also wanted to thank the other DT members for their creativity each week and their hard work these last 6 months! It has been a pleasure working with all of you!! :) ...now on to my cards...for my first card I used Michelle's Mary, Mary image! Isn't she sweet and don't you just love that sentiment?!

For my second card I made a CAS card with Vanessa the Love Goddess! Michelle personalised the image with each one of the DT names! How cool is that?! THANK YOU Michelle! ...she is so beautiful!

My Valentine

Hello everyone! Today we have a new challenge for you at Michelle Perkett Studios! This week we would like you to create a Valentine's Day card or project using one of Michelle's images! I love this Kissing Couple image and think It will make the perfect Valentine's Day card for my hubby...not too girly! I kept it very CAS using non-traditional Valentine colors...lavender & eggplant! So Sweet!

Hello everyone! Today starts a new challenge over at Michelle Perkett Studios! This week team one has a wonderful challenge lined up for you! Use one of Michelle's images ...add Scallops and a Frame! For my card I chose the So Sweet Cupcakes image to work with. I purchased this fun ribbon at Michaels last weekend...and I couldn't help but use it for my color inspiration! Michelle Perkett Studio Holiday Magic Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Hop! Merry Christmas Calaf!

Good morning everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Michelle Perkett Studios and this week our challenge is...create a Christmas card or project using one of Michelle's images! For my project I used two of Michelle's images...one for the doggie treat bag and then I personalized a tag to attach to Calaf's toy. Calaf is my hubby's parents dog! Poinsettia Fairy

Isn't she beautiful?!! This is Michelle Perkett's Poinsettia Fairy! I wanted to add some extra poinsettias so I cropped one of the flowers and then enlarged it two different sizes. I didn't leave much room for a sentiment so I added a "Joy" charm and then a tons of gems. Snow Family

Good morning everyone! Today we have a new challenge for you over at Michelle Perkett Studios! This week we would like you to create your own background and of course use one of Michelle's images on your card or project! For my creation today I used one of the new Snow Family images, there are 3 in this series...all adorable!! I created my background by stamping snowflakes all over with VersaMark ink and then dusting them lightly with chalk. The stars at the bottom also are stamped with VersaMark.
