Top o' the mornin' to ya

Good morning everyone!

I have a quick post today to share a fun St. Patrick's Day card...
This cute Leprechaun is a pre-colored image from my PrintMaster program- it printed out very light so I darkened it with Copic markers :) The sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from The Paper Studio. I used My Favorite Things dies for the stitched circle, fishtail flag and four-leaf clover, the stitched rounded rectangle is from Pink & Main.

That's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by!

luck of the Irish

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a March Art Journal/Calendar page to share with you!

While browsing images on my PrintMaster program I came across this adorable Leprechaun! It's a pre-colored image and when I printed it out it was very light, so I darkened it up with Copic markers- I wanted to make sure he 'pops' off the page! :)
I used several new items to create the background: Lindy's Magicals- Pineapple Paradise & Luscious lime, Sizzix Alphabet dies, Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel and a Prima Marketing stamp for the vines. The quote/sentiment is computer generated, I used a couple of small rubber stamps along with several stencils and Oxide Inks colors.

And here's a close up of the Leprechaun... what a cutie!
Well, that's all for now... thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog today!

Breakfast in Bed for Mom

Good morning everyone!

I'm popping in today to share a vintage style card that I made with a sweet image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD...
It was originally a B&W image that I changed to a sepia tone and then I added a touch of color with a yellow Spectrum Noir marker. I used Spellbinder dies and a couple of small punches to create the flowers and the papers are from MME. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink and I added a bit of shimmer to the colored portions with the Wink of Stella pen. To finish it up I added a punched heart and some tiny yellow pearls to the center of the flowers.

I think this image is sooo cute- I love that little guy serving his mother breakfast in bed AND look in the left hand corner... he walked by a spider! Yikes! lol!

Well, that's all for now... enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Have a Happy Easter

Good morning everyone!
I have one last Easter card to share with you today. This card is for my sister and niece... my hubby and I will see them on Sunday so I can hand-deliver it along with a few other cards for my family! :)
This little bunny is a pre-colored image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD. The daisies were originally a very pale yellow and white so I used a couple of Copics to color them in! I cut the image out with a Deckled rectangle nestie and added a touch of pink chalk ink around the edges. The papers are from Echo Park and Paper Salon.  I used the MS layering Daisy punch to create the flowers and the sentiment is from Stampendous... added the large yellow gems and there you have it!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a

Winter Wonderland

Good morning everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!

This week it's Hazel's turn to host the challenge and she chose the wonderful theme...
Winter Wonderland

For my DT card I chose a fabulous image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD called "Mailing Letter To Santa".  It was originally a B&W image... so I changed it to a sepia tone to give it an aged look. The Post Card is from Teresa Collins and the Postage Stamp is from Whimsy Stamps... both stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder, the Lamppost was cut with a Tim Holtz die and I used a Recollections punch for the snowflakes.  All of the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain Distress ink... added some tiny cream pearls and there you have it!

Now head on over to the challenge blog and check out all of the gorgeous creations by the other team members!
That's it for now... enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Tiny Vintage Mice

Good afternoon everyone!
Just popping in to share a Vintage Style card that I made with another fabulous image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD.  Like a few other cards on my blog this adorable image was originally a B&W image that I changed to a sepia tone and this time I added a touch of color with a BT1 Spectrum Noir marker. I roughed up all the edges with the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool before adding Vintage Photo distress ink. The designer papers are from a 6x6 MME paper pad- the Market collection and the sentiment is Hero Arts.  The cream paper flowers, also from Hero Arts are sprayed with Perfect Pearls Mist before adding a little distressed ink and pearls. You can't see it in the photo but the flowers are very shimmery IRL! :)

That's it for now, thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day!

For my creation I chose a b&w image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD and colored it Copics.  I used a MS punch for the butterflies and a EK Success punch for the corners.  The dp is from K&Company and I added some hand dyed seam binding... I think it matches the daffodil perfectly! :)  The tiny pearls and button are from my stash.

Man of the Hour

Hello everyone!
Just a quick post today to show you my last Christmas card for the year!  This is another fabulous image from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD called "Man of the Hour".  Like this card, it was originally a B&W image that I changed to a sepia tone... so no coloring was involved!  Perfect for finishing up last minute cards!  I used the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool and Walnut Distress Ink to give it that Vintage feel.  The postage stamp sentiments/die cut is from Whimsy Stamps and the candy cane die is from QuicKutz.  Hand dyed my seam binding with the same walnut ink and then added my button to finish it up!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS

The Stockings Were Hung...

Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... V for Vintage!  I'm so excited about our challenge this time because I think I finally made a real Vintage style card! I struggle to make something look aged and distressed... so I'm very happy with the way this card turned out!! :)

This fabulous image (Bearskin Rug Helper) is actually a B&W photo from my PrintMaster Platinum DVD that I changed to a Sepia tone... so NO coloring!  I roughed up the edges with the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool before added my Walnut Distress Ink.  The sentiment is from Crafty Secrets and the postage stamp/die cut is from Whimsy Stamps.  I used a CB die for the tag, a QuicKuts die for the trees and a MS punch for the holly.  To finish it up I tied the tag with some ribbon and added a couple different sizes of pearls!

I hope you can join us and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and check out the gorgeous inspiration from the DT!
