Patriotic Dog...

Good morning everyone!

I'm popping in today to share a fun Patriotic card with you...
It features a cute image from Paper Pretties (no longer available) and it's colored with Copics. The star background was created with a piece of embossed cardstock & Faded Jeans Distress ink and then cut out with a Szzix die. The heart paper is from MFT and I used MFT dies for the fishtail flags. The sentiments and tiny star paper are from Pebbles- the American collection. I distressed all of the edges and to finish it up I added a couple of staples.

I've had this digi stamp for years and never printed it out... now I'm so happy I did because I really like how this card turned out! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and for all of the comments you leave!
Hugs, Tammy

Happy Monday everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Creatalicious and this month the theme is...
New Beginnings
So think- new baby, new job, new year... and so on!
I wanted to make a New Year card for my wonderful In-laws! They are huge dog lovers and own two themselves so I thought this adorable Clark image from Paper Pretties would be perfect! It's colored with Copics, the paper is from Bazzill and I used a EK Success punch to round the corners. I used a Tim Holtz stamp and VersaMark ink for the clock bg and I cut the numbers out with the Tim Holtz Typeset die. I punched the stars out of a heavy gold cs, added Dimensional Magic and sprinkled them with Glamour dust while they were still wet... they turned out so sparkly and I love the 3D effect!

Shoo-Fly Pie

Happy Friday everyone!
It's Alphabet Challenge time and today it's my turn to choose the theme. We are up to the letter E and I LOVE the color green so I chose E... for Emerald! So create a card or project with the color green... and any amount of green will do! :)

For my DT card I used an image that I won from Paper Pretties!  While browsing their store I saw this adorable frog and immediately thought of Shoo-Fly Pie!  Now, I've only heard of Shoo-Fly Pie and how it got it's name but I've never had any.  It's looks so easy to make and I like molasses so I might have to give it a try sometime! :)
Anyway, this little guy is colored with Copics and the sentiment is from C.C. Designs.  The ticket/die cut is from Whimsy Stamps and the papers are from BasicGrey.  To finish it up I added a couple different sizes of gems... and there you have it!  A very bright and fun card!

For more inspiration be sure to stop by the challenge blog and take a look at the DT fabulous creations!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!!

A little birdie...

Good morning everyone!
Just a quick post today to show you a birthday card that I made with this adorable
Paper Pretties image and sentiment!
It's colored with Copics and I printed an extra image so I could pop up the bird and a couple of the flowers with foam tape... I also lightly sponged in a few clouds.  The bg is embossed with a woodgrain folder, the dp is from Authentique and I used the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool to rough up the edges.  I used a MFT die for the fishtail flags and the cork flowers were cut with the Cuttlebug Asterisks die... added my pearls and there you have it!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
