April brings...

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new Challenge at Sparkles Monthly and the theme is-
April Showers Bring...
I decided to make a couple of spring cards with the beautiful 'Children's Hour' collection from Graphic 45. When I'm not in the mood to stamp and color I love using paper collections and this paper pad is one of my favorites!
All of the edges were distress with Antique Linen ink, I used Avery Elle & Pink & Main dies for the stitched rectangles, MFT die for the corner and a Echo Park die for the doily and that's about it :)

I hope you can join us and don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog to check out the rest of the teams beautiful cards.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the comments you leave!

Playing with Paper...

Good morning everyone- I hope you are doing well.

Today I have a couple of Vintage/Shabby Chic Mother's Day cards to share...
A few days ago I was in the mood to just 'play with paper' so I dug out my neglected but loved Graphic 45 Children's Hour collection. I mostly used the months of May and June for my cards and I was on a mission to see how many papers/elements I could put on a A2 card front- And I'm very happy with the way they turned out :)
All of the edges were distressed with Brushed Corduroy ink, I sprayed the first card with Glitter Dust and I added TH Crackle Paint to the second card. There are a few punched butterflies on the pink card and the pearls, twine and lace are from my stash.

Thanks so much for stopping by- I really appreciate it!
Take care and stay healthy.

I added Faded Jeans distress ink to the edges, cut the '2019' with a Tim Holtz die, used a EK Success punch for the corners and to finish it up I added sequins. I love the month of January in this collection with all of the different shades blues and I love how fast and easy this card came together! :)

My card features beautiful papers from Graphic 45 Children's Hour collection... this time I used papers from the months of October and November. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added some orange twine and a gem.
Here's a peek of the inside- I stamped the Hero Arts sentiment on cream cardstock, added a strip of DP from the same collection and then cut the rectangle out using a stitched die from Avery Elle.

Ahhhhh... AUTUMN!

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is...
Thoughts of Fall!
My card features some gorgeous papers from Graphic 45- the 'Children's Hour' collection. I love the main image, it looks like a watercolor panting! I used Lawn Fawn dies to cut the stitched leaves and MFT dies for the circles and tiny fishtail flags. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up- I removed the center of an old decorative brad and added a small piece of DP and then placed it near the leaves.

I hope you can join us and don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog to check out the rest of the teams beautiful creations!

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we would like to see
your beach or nautical creations. I have two beach themed cards to share with you... a vintage one and a very bright one! :)

On my vintage card I used the gorgeous 'Children's Hour' collection from Graphic 45... this time I used papers from the month of July.
And on my second card I used a fun image from Bugaboo Stamps...
This little beach frog was colored with Copics and the papers are from Doodlebug Design. I used a Little Yellow Bicycle die for the 'smile' sentiment and a Momenta die for the sea shells.

Now head on over to the main challenge blog and check out the beautiful cards by the other team members!

Playing with Paper...

Happy Monday Everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a couple of cards that I made with my new Graphic 45 'Children's Hour' paper pad! You get 2 double-sided sheets of cardstock with different patterns on each side for each month of the year!

Here are the two cards that I made with the March papers...
I made the St. Patrick's Day card for my wonderful In-laws and the second card will be added to the box of cards that I will donate to my local Ronald McDonald House.
These cards were sooo fun to make! I love all of the images and beautiful colors and no stamping or coloring was involved! Some days it's just fun to play with paper and boy, do I have a lot! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and for all of the comments you leave.
I'll see you soon!
