Patriotic Pups :)

Good morning everyone and happy Friday! 

I wanted to pop in real quick today and share a couple of 4th of July cards that feature very cute dogs!   

On my first card I used a coloring page and on my second card I used a digital stamp from Eureka Stamps. Both are colored with Copics, the sentiments are Stampendous & Tim Holtz and most of the papers are from Pebbles- the American collection.

Colorful Clown

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is...
N for Numbers!

My card features a fun clown image from Eureka Stamps, it's colored with Copics and the die cut sentiment is from Little Yellow Bicycle. I created a watercolor wash background with Crushed Olive, Twisted Citron and Peacock Feathers Distress Inks, once dry I sponged the same ink colors through Tim Holtz Numeric stencil. The panel was cut out with a Avery Elle Wonky stitch die and to finish it up I added some sparkly enamel dots.

Wolf Country

Good morning everyone!

Today I wanted to share a birthday card that I made for my Dad! 

It features a gorgeous wolf image from Eureka Stamps and a Vintage Cowboy map from Create with TLC. I colored the image lightly with Copcis and used Walnut Stain ink for the distressing. The wooden chevron arrows were painted with gold metallic paint, crackle paint and then I added distress ink to them also. I found a charm in my stash that had a flower in the center so I removed it and altered the charm...  

I punched the word wolf out of an old dictionary, distressed it and then added Dimensional Magic for a 3D effect... it looks so cool IRL!

Well, there you have it... a very masculine card. It was so fun to make and my dad really loved it!!

MAWTT is Back!

Good morning everyone!  

We are back from our summer break at Moving Along With the Times... so that means a new challenge starts today and it's an easy one... 

ANYTHING GOES!  

For my card I used this adorable Best Friends image from Eureka Stamps!  It's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from MFT.  The DP is from Making memories and the bg is embossed with the Darice Damask folder.  I used a MS punch for the scalloped edge and a EK Success punch for the corners... to finish it up I added some hand dyed seam binding, a flower button and pearls.
