Scary and Spooky!

Happy Friday everyone!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... S for Scary!

For my DT card I used this scary but cute Mummy from Paper Makeup and colored it with Copics.  To create the background I sponged Versafine-black onyx ink through my Mini Branch stencil- from Crafter's Workshop onto a light grey cardstock.  The letters were cut with a QuicKuts die, the ghosts were cut with a Memory Box die and I used MS punches for the fence and bats... added my tiny orange gems and there you have it!

Adorable Monsters!

Good morning everyone! 

Today is the start of a new challenge at House of Cards and this month we have a fabulous sketch for you to work with...

and this week we would like to see your Fun & Cute creations!

My card features the adorable Me and Pops Monster image from Paper Makeup!  It's colored with a combination of Copics and Spectrum Noir markers.  The papers are from Teresa Collins and The Paper Studio.  The letters were cut with the Sizzix/Tim Holtz Typeset die, I used a MFT die for the spider and a MS punch for the bat.  Added my googly eyes and there you have it... a VERY bright and fun Halloween card! :)

Embossing... Spooky Style

Good morning everyone!
 It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!
This week it's Red's turn to host the challenge and she wants to see...
Embossing!

Our wonderful sponsor is Bearly Mine Designs and I chose one of the Halloween freebie papers to work with... love this spooky paper!  The little mummy is a image that I won from Paper Makeup... I love him too, so cute and scary! :) I colored him with Copics and the sentiment is from Crafty Secrets.  I embossed the oval background with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder and I used the CB Distressed Stripes folder for the moon. I used $1 punches for the circles & spiders and a MS punch for the bats.  Well, there you have it... my first Halloween card for 2013!

Celebrate Retro Style

Good Morning all!

  I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas!  Ours was wonderful!!  

I finally made it back to my craft room so I have a fun card to share with you today!

  

This sweet Retro Cat image is a new stamp from Paper Makeup that I won!  Isn't she a cutie?!  She's colored with Copics and the Sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels.  The papers are from The Paper Studio and I used a Recollections punch for the corner.  The red roses, gems and feather are all from my stash.  That's it for now... but I will be back on Friday and Saturday with some new creations!
