Blossoms for Mom

Happy Saturday everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is...
Blooms and Blossoms!
Our fabulous sponsor is Heather Ellis who provide the images for us to work with!  This is one of Heather's Pure Innocence images, Isn't she a cutie?!!

I wanted to make something a little different so I created this simple pocket card and matching tag!  Usually the tag is larger but I added a packet of seeds and made the tag smaller... that way both will fit in the pocket.  Perfect for our challenge theme and perfect for my mom... I'm going to give this to my mom for Mother's Day along with a few other goodies! :)

Anyway, this sweet image is colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts.  The bright yellow paper is from Recollections and the tag was cut with an QuicKuts die. I used a small EK Success punch for the flowers and a Cuttlebug die for the heart... added my hand dyed seam binding and pearls and there you have it!

Make sure you stop by the challenge blog and check out all of the wonderful creations by the other team members!
Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend!

i "HEART" you.

Happy Saturday everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is... Love and Marriage with the option of lace & pearls.  Our fabulous sponsor is Heather Ellis and I chose this adorable Pure Innocence image to work with!  OMGosh she is so cute!  She's colored with Copics, the sentiments are from Technique Tuesday and my dp is from BasicGrey (Origins collection).  I've also used a couple of new MFT dies... Rolled Scallop flower and Mini Pennants.  I love these dies! The pearls and buttons are from my stash.
I made this sweet non-traditional Valentine for my DH!!
I hope he likes it! :)
