somebunny loves you...

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing a couple of Easter cards that I made with my new Tim Holtz/Sizzix Carrot Bunny Dies! I think these bunnies are so cute!!

The background on my first card was created with Lindy's Magicals. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the grass and part of an Impression Obsession die for the tulips. I sponged several different colors of Distress Oxide inks onto a heavy watercolor cardstock and then cut out all of the pieces... some were so small!
The background on my second card was created with Distress Oxide inks. Once dry, I stamped the script and postage stamp using a Stampendous stamp set. I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the sentiment and a Cuttlebug die for the flowers.
Here's what the inside looks like on my second card- Stamping Bella and Tim Holtz stamps were used.
These cards took a bit of time to assemble but they were so fun to make! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

Bugaboo Easter Cards...

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing a few of the Easter cards that I donated to my Local Ronald McDonald House... When I checked with them last week I was so happy to hear that they still wanted the cards! So with the 'social distancing' guidelines in place I was able to drop off a large box of cards! :) I hope they brighten a child's day!!
They feature cute images from Bugaboo Stamps and are colored with Copics. I colored the first two lime green and purple but they look blue in the photo especially the one on the right :( I used Penny Black & Avery Elle dies for the stitched rectangles and My Favorite Things dies for the stitched square, fishtail flags and flowers. I finished them off with a  little detailing with a white Posca pen, enamel dots and Nuvo Crystal Drops.
We'll that's it for today- thanks so much for stopping by and enjoy the Easter weekend!

Cute Chick...

Good morning everyone!

Today I'm sharing my latest Art Journal/Calendar page with you...
For the month of April I wanted to create a fun Easter page and include Valerie's 'Geometric Shapes' theme over at Art Journal Journey. I think my page fits the bill... I have a cute Easter chick, lots of circles and squares AND I managed to make it extremely bright... nothing makes me happier than bright sunny colors!! :)

The background was created with Distress Oxide inks, Simon Says Stamp grid stencil, Prima Marketing border stamp and a Carabella Studio circle stamp. I used 4 different stamp companies for the sentiments and several different dies & punches for the chick, flowers, buttons and numbers... way too many to list!
