Funny Feathered Friends

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is...

Feathered Friends! 

 My card features a couple of really cute birds from Stamping Bella... they are colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz. I created the sky with Peacock Feathers and Speckled Egg DOI. For the grass I used Mowed Lawn DOI and a stencil from Simon Says Stamp. The flowers were cut with a Cuttlebug die and to finish it up I added a little detailing with a white Posca pen.

Meet Frankenstein...

Good morning everyone, Happy Halloween!

I have one last Halloween card to share with you...  

It features the fun Oddball Frankenstein stamp & sentiment from Stamping Bella. It's colored with Copics, fussy cut out and I added a touch of detailing with a white Posca pen. I created the background with Wilted Violet Oxide ink, water and Newton's Nook bat stencil. I used a Avery Elle die for the stitched rectangle, the pierced fishtail die and striped paper are from My Favorite Things.

My card features a very cute image from Stamping Bella... it's stamped with Black licorice ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Stampendous. I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the stitched rectangle and My Favorite Things dies for the pierced rectangle and fishtail flags, to finish it up I added some green gems.

For my DT card I used the beautiful 'Opal the Optimist' stamp from Stamping Bella... she's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Art Impressions. I used a very old CB embossing folder for the background and then added a little Dried Marigold DI to the raised areas. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added some sequins.

Hello everyone! 

Before all of the February challenges end I wanted to share this 'love' card with you... 

It features a cute image from Stamping Bella... it's stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink and colored with Copics. I used a CottageCutz die for the eyelet circle, Cuttlebug dies for the flowers and the papers are from Kaisercraft & Chatterbox... to finish it up I added a few peach pearls.

I made a 5x7 card featuring the beautiful Audrey Loves her Makeup stamp from Stamping Bella! She's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copic and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. The Skyline border & photo corner dies are from MFT and I used Joy Crafts dies to create the flowers. The papers are from MME, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain Distress ink and to finish it up I added the pearls.

The current challenge is... Boys Rule and my card is for the Midway Motivation post and it features the adorable Sk8r Boy from Stamping Bella! 

I decided to make a Back to School- Boys Rule themed card! My image is stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiments are from Paper Smooches. The papers are from American Crafts & My Mind's Eye. I used an EK Success punch to create the notebook edge and Shabby Shutters ink for the distressing... the green twine and button are from my stash.

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is...
H for Hats and/or Handbags!

I decided to make a 5 X 7 card featuring the fabulous- Audrey Loves her Makeup stamp from Stamping Bella! She's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with a combination of Copics & Spectrum Noir markers. The sentiment is from Penny Black, the papers are from MME and Me & My BIG ideas. The Oval Doily was cut from a Hot Off The Press Die and I used MFT dies for the corner and flowers... to finish off the flowers I added a small punched circle, a punched flower and a tiny pink gem.

Good morning everyone!

 Today I have a fun card to share with you... It features Opal the Optimist, one of the Uptown Girls from Stamping Bella! 

She's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and then I added a bit of shimmer to her hair & dress with the Wink of Stella pen. All three papers are from MME- The Sweetest Thing collection and I used Vintage Photo ink for the distressing. The Doily was cut with a Docrafts die, I used the Rose Creations nesties for the flower and a MFT die for the button... added the sequins and pearls and Voila- it's done!

I love this image and it was so fun to color! I will be adding more of these fabulous 'Uptown Girls' to my stamp collection for sure!! :)

My mom requested a birthday card for her girlfriend. So this is what I came up with! I Love this image from Stamping Bella she is so fun!! I colored her with Tombow Markers and added some Orange peel stickles. She needed some sparkle!
