Snow-one like you!

Good morning everyone! 

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and this month we want to see your CAS cards!

      My card features the adorable Frozen Fellowship stamp set from Newton's Nook! It's stamped in Archival ink onto mixed media paper and colored with a Moonstone Spectrum Noir Glitter pen. I used a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle and a MFT die for the small rectangle and there you have it... a very CAS card!

Frozen Fellowship...

Happy Monday everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a couple of Christmas cards with you... They feature the adorable Frozen Fellowship stamp from Newton's Nook! The first one is stamped with black licorice ink, colored with Copics and I added a little detailing with a white Posca pen. 

On the second one- I stamped the image onto Strathmore Bristol Smooth paper in VersaFine black ink and colored it with Zig brush pens, the sentiment was stamped in VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white powder.

I used a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle and a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle and there you have it... my first Christmas cards of the year!

Non-Traditional Christmas Colors! One of my favorite themes! :)

 My card features the adorable Frozen Fellowship stamp from Newton's Nook! It's colored with Copics and the sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white powder. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle, a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle, a MFT die for the small stitched rectangle and to finish it up I added highlights/detailing with a white Posca pen.

Yummy Candy Corn!

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is... Fancy Folds!

I decided to make a little gift bag and gate fold card and they feature my new Candy Corn stamp set from Newton's Nook! Don't you just love that fun sentiment?!! The candy corns are stamped in MFT Black Licorice ink, colored with Copics and the papers are from Doodlebug Design. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the goodie bag and then created a clear circle window so you could see the yummy candy corns inside :)

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend!

I'm here today to share a card that I made with my new 'Fall-ing For You' stamp set from Newton's Nook! :)

To start- I cut the orange panel with an Avery Elle stitched die and then embossed it with the Cuttlebug Argyle folder. Next I used the same embossing folder and Spiced Marmalade ink to created a 'stamped embossed background'. Once dry I stamped the fun sentiment and coffee cup with VersaFine ink and heat embossed them with clear powder. The coffee cup was colored with Spiced Marmalade and Mustard Seed Distress inks and the gold background was stamped using images out of the same stamp set and VersaMark ink.

Cuppa Cactus

Hello everyone... I'm back with a couple of cards featuring my new 'Cuppa Cactus' stamp set from Newton's Nook! :)

These cute images were colored with Copics and cut with the coordinating dies... On my first card I used some beautiful DP from Crate Paper, the fishtail flag & stitched circle were cut with MFT dies and I used a Avery Elle die for the wonky stitched rectangle.  

And on this card I also used Avery Elle & MFT dies, the flowers were cut with a CB die and I added some orange enamel dots.

A Day at the Beach

Today I'm here to share my second post as the Guest Designer over at 

Fantasy Stampers!

The current challenge is... At the Beach and my card is for the Midway Motivation post and it features a sweet image from Newton's Nook...

It's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The blue panel was cut with a Avery Elle's Frame die and I used MFT dies for the Stitched Circle frame & Pierced Fishtail flag. The sandcastle was cut with a Impression Obsession die, I used a Momenta die for the boat wheel and a Sizzix die for the palm tree inside the shaker element! :)

I have another Newton's Nook card to share with you! This adorable cat is from the 'Newton's Summer Vacation' stamp set...

It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and I've used a Simon Says Stamp die for the 'hello' sentiment. The stitched circles were cut with MFT dies and I used a Joy Crafts die for the sun rays. I used my new Avery Elle's dies for the scallop border & wavy bottom border and a Darice EF for the paw print background...
to finish it up I added a little punched crab! :)

Good morning everyone... I hope your 2016 is off to a good start! :o) 

Today I have a super cute card to share with you featuring my new 'Newton's Summer Vacation' stamp set by Newton's Nook!  

It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and fussy cut out. The background was embossed with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder and I used a CB die for the fish. The papers are from Doodlebug Design, the Squiggle border and Jumbo Fishtail Banner dies are from MFT and to finish it up I added a little Glossy Accents to his snorkel mask :)
