luck of the Irish

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a March Art Journal/Calendar page to share with you!

While browsing images on my PrintMaster program I came across this adorable Leprechaun! It's a pre-colored image and when I printed it out it was very light, so I darkened it up with Copic markers- I wanted to make sure he 'pops' off the page! :)
I used several new items to create the background: Lindy's Magicals- Pineapple Paradise & Luscious lime, Sizzix Alphabet dies, Gina K. Designs Glitz Glitter Gel and a Prima Marketing stamp for the vines. The quote/sentiment is computer generated, I used a couple of small rubber stamps along with several stencils and Oxide Inks colors.

And here's a close up of the Leprechaun... what a cutie!
Well, that's all for now... thanks so much for taking the time to visit my blog today!

Cutie Pie- Gorgeous Greens
Double D- It's all about the Green and/or St. Patrick's Day

I agree. The leprechaun really POPS now that you've added your magic with those copic markers. I love how you shaded him, too. This is simply stunning and beautiful. I really love the clovers and the vines, too. Thanks so much for sharing this gorgeous calendar page with us at Art Journal Journey using Eileen's green theme.

Your little guy is so cute and his nose reminds me of a snowman and makes me smile.
What a fabulous page you have shown to us and what a lot of lovely colours mediums you have used to produce such a wealth of colour. Good idea to have those 'rays' behind him, makes him look even sunnier than he is.
Hugs, Neet xx
