A Festive Resist...

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond and this time we would like you to create a card/project using a Resist Technique! What a fun challenge and there are so many possibilities!
For my card- I applied Tim Holtz 'Crazing' Collage Medium through the Tim Holtz Festive stencil using a palette knife. Once dry I sponged Mermaid Lagoon Oxide ink over the entire panel and then flicked some water on it. Then I remove some of the ink from the embossed areas with a baby wipe so you see the crackle effect better! I cut the sentiment and dotted rectangle out of white glitter cardstock and to finish it up I added sequins.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog to check out the rest of the teams beautiful creations!

Challenges I would like to enter:
A Inky Mess- Anything mixed media goes
Cards in Envy- The Spirit of Christmas
Creatalicious- Anything Goes + Option: Stencil
Creative Artiste- Anything Mixed Media Goes
Happy Little Stampers- Always Anything Goes with Dies
Mix It Up- Anything Goes + optional twist of No Stamping
Shopping Our Stash- Tis The Season
Simon Says Stamp Monday- Warm Winter Wishes
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday- Christmas

Supplies used:
Dies: double Stitched rectangle & sentiment-Tim Holtz, dotted rectangle- Sizzix
Tim Holtz- Crazing Collage Medium & Festive stencil
Misc: Cuttlebug, baby wipes, sequins & Matte Multi Medium
