A new challenge starts today at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is...
Autumn Blessings and this time I decided to make an art journal page :)
I created a watercolor wash/splatter background with Distress Oxide inks and a misc. leaf stamp. I cut three ovals for the pumpkin, colored them with ink and then stamped a few flourishes. I used a burlap folder to emboss the ground portion, a Lawn Fawn die for the leaves and a MFT die for swirls- all were colored with Oxide inks. I cut the 'Autumn' word out with a Echo Park die, stamped some extra sentiments and to finish it up I added a orange twine bow and that's about it!

Clever way to use your oval dies to make a pumpkin, and I like the tone on tone flourishes and how you "grounded" the pumpkin with burlap paper. And I do love the warm autumnal colors.

Beautiful rich Autumnal colours, with the delicate leafy stampings and splashes. The torn strip of embossed paper grounds it all so beautifully.

WOW - I love all the delicate textures you added to this journal page! The scrolling pattern in the pumpkin is beautiful and it's works so well with the skeleton leaf work in the background! Gorgeous job Tammy!
