Just for you mom...

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Back to Basics and Beyond and this time we want to see your Gate Fold Cards.

For my card I use a very old and loved rubber stamp from Lili of the Valley :) It's stamped with MFT black licorice ink and colored with Copics. I added some dots around the scallop with a white Posca pen and the paper is from Making Memories. 
Here's a peak of the inside- I used a Avery Elle die for the stitched rectangle and the sentiments are from Hero Arts.

Round Up...

Good morning everyone I hope you are doing well!

 I have many cards that I haven't blogged yet and this is one of them so I thought I would share it with you today :)   
It features the adorable 'Yee Haa!' stamp from LOTV...  It's stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa ink and colored with Copics. The bingo card is from Teresa Collins and I stamped a sentiment from The Cat's Pajamas inside, the 'Round UP' stamp is from Stampabilities. I used MFT dies for the fishtail flag & corner and distressed all of the edges. The twine, wood button and metal clip are from my stash.

Much love...

Good morning everyone...

I wanted to pop in today and share the birthday card that I made for one of my nieces who loves dogs! 
It features one of my all time favorite stamps from LOTV! It's stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. I used a Sizzix die for the dotted rectangle and MFT dies for the flowers, circles, tab and paperclip.

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is...
Welcome Little Baby!
My card features a sweet image from LOTV! It's colored with Copics, the sentiment is an old $1 stamp from Michaels and the paper is from BasicGrey. I used a Elizabeth Craft Designs die for the dotted scallop rectangle and MFT dies for the onesie and stitched dies.

LOVE, JOY & PEACE

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge AND as always it's Anything Goes as long as you create a Christmas card or project!
I decided to make a monochromatic card featuring an adorable image from LOTV! It's colored with Copics, the sentiment and papers are from Kaisercraft- the 'Home For Christmas' collection. I used MFT dies for the heart, stitched border & stitched circle and a Marianne Designs die for the Christmas tree.
With the different shades of brown and no bling, I think this Christmas card will be perfect for one of the guys in my family! :)

Smiling Puppy

Good morning everyone!

I'm popping in today to share a quick card with you featuring one of my favorite 
LOTV Stamps... 
I stamped this little pup onto watercolor paper in Versafine Black ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder and then I used Derwent Inktense Pencils and a waterbrush to color it. The sentiment was cut out twice using a Little Yellow Bicycle die and that's about it...
one quick but cute card! :)

Little Pumpkin...

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is R for Recipe! So we want you to use a least three of the ingredients from the board below.  
On my card I used- sentiment, stamp and embossing... and it features the adorable October Fairy image from Lili of the Valley! It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. The background is embossed with the CB Argyle folder and the cute pumpkin paper is from Doodlebug Designs. I used Lawn Fawn dies for the Stitched Leaves and the twine, button and sequins are all from my stash.

LOVE...

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... L for LOVE
For my DT project I made an anniversary card for my wonderful In-Laws! It features the very sweet Bunnies in Love image from Lili of Valley... it's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the circle sentiment is from Jaded Blossom. I used MFT dies for the stitched circle & pierced ovals, the flowers were created with Joy Crafts dies and I used a Sizzix folder for the embossed background. I cut the 'love' sentiment with a Little Yellow Bicycle die and then covered it with glitter.

WANTED

Good morning everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

I wanted to pop in today and share a Father's Day card with you... 
it featuring the adorable Yee-Haa Stamp from Lili of the Valley!
It's a 5 x 7 card, stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Stampabilities. The striped DP is from Cloud9 and I created the star background with VersaMark ink and another stamp from the same Stampabilities stamp set. The middle portion was embossed with the CB mesh folder and to finish it up I added a few punched stars and some blue hemp cord.

Furry Friends

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is F for Furry Friends... 
one of my favorite themes!  
My card features a stamp from Lili of the Valley... isn't that pup adorable, just sitting there sipping on his/her cup of tea or maybe it's coffee LOL! I love both!
AND since my mom also loves both, this is the card that I gave her for
Mother's Day!

It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. The papers are from MME & Kaisercraft, the flowers were cut with a Spellbinder die and I use Walnut Stain ink for the distressing... added a few light peach enamel dots and it's done!

Watercolored Flowers...

Good morning everyone and happy Saturday!

Just a quick post from me today to share a very bright spring card!
It features a beautiful image from Lili of the Valley... it's stamped onto watercolor paper in Versafine Black ink, embossed with clear embossing powder and then watercolored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors... I love these watercolors! The paper is from Sandylion and I used a MS punch for the butterflies. I used Squeezed Lemonade ink for the distressing and to color the seam binding.

'Tis The Season

Good morning everyone and Happy Friday!

It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is... T for 'Tis the Season!

For my DT card I chose the adorable Snowman Serenade image from Lili of the Valley! I stamp the image onto watercolor paper in Versafine Black ink, embossed it with clear embossing powder and then watercolored it with Crushed Olive and Walnut Stain distress inks... I love this color combo!!  
I created an emboss resist background using a stamp set from Inkadinkado, VersaMark Ink and clear embossing powder... I then sponged on the same distress ink colors. The Sentiment is from Kaisercraft, the charm, twine and sequins are all from my stash.

Flowers @ Fussy & Fancy

Happy Friday everyone!

 Today starts a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and this time it's Jo's turn to host the challenge and she chose the fabulous theme...
Flowers
For my DT card I used an adorable image from Lili of the Valley...  she's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used MFT dies for the Pierced Fishtails flags and Stitched circles, the papers are from MME. I created the flowers with a Joy Crafts die and the leaves were cut with a Spellbinder die... added my pearls and it's done! I've worked with this image several times and I love the rich colors on this card, it might be my favorite! :)

For You

Hello everyone! 

Just popping in today to share a Shabby Chic style of card! :o)
It features a sweet image from Lili of the Valley... It's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and cut out with a MFT Stitched Circle die. The Sentiment is from Hero Arts and both DP are from MME. The stitched button was cut with a Poppy stamps die and I used a Lawn Fawn die for the X-stitching along the top, middle and bottom of the card- if you look real hard you'll see the faux stitching! :) To finish it up I added some hand dyed seam binding, MS punched butterflies and a few amber colored gems.

Lots of Layers...

Good morning everyone! 

I'm thrilled to share my card with you today because I will be joining the fabulous ladies over at Fantasy Stampers as their Guest Designer for the month of August! A big thank you to Jan and the entire DT for having me on board this month!

The current challenge is... Lots of Layers and my card is for the Midway Motivation post... it features a sweet image from Lili of the Valley and a yummy Kraft and Green Apple color combo! I love these colors together! :)  
I stamped my image onto watercolor paper with StazOn Jet Black ink and then I watecolored it with Derwent Inktense Pencils. I created the polka-dot background with the MFT Swiss Dots stencil and some green apple ink, the stitched rectangle frame, stitched circles & pierced rectangles are all from MFT. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the ticket is from Whimsy Stamps... added a few bright green gems and there you have it!

For my DT card I chose an adorable image from LOTV... it's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and Prisma pencils. The background is embossed with a Darice folder and I used a EK Success punch for the corners. I used a Little Yellow Bicycle die for the word 'smile' and nesties for the flowers... added a few gems and it's done!

Hubby's Anniversary Card!

Happy Monday everyone, I hope you had a wonderful weekend! 

I wanted to pop in real quick today and share the Anniversary card that I made for my sweet hubby... we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary a few weeks ago and this was the card that I gave to him! :o)
It features an adorable image from LOTV... it's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and I added a bit of shading with Prisma pencils. I used MFT dies for the stitched circles, stitched rounded rectangles and numbers. The flowers were created with a Joy Craft die and a small flower punch... added a few tiny pearls and Voila- it's done!

Round UP

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!

I wanted to pop in today and share the card that I made for my dad for Father's Day!
I used my new Yee Haa! stamp from Lili of the Valley! Oh, I love this image...
I know my dad will too!
It's stamped with Memento Rich Cocoa, colored with Copics and the paper is from Graphic 45. The bingo card is from Teresa Collins and I stamp a sentiment from The Cat's Pajamas inside, the 'Round UP' stamp is from Stampabilities and the 'dad' letters were cut with MFT dies. The edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain ink and to finish it up I added some punched stars and twine.
