Spring is in the Air

Good morning everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!
This week it's Lisa's turn to host the challenge and she chose the fabulous theme...
Spring is in the Air!
Our wonderful sponsor is Prairie Fairy and my card features the sweet "All Cracked Up" image! It's colored with Copics, the sentiment is from Stampendous and the bright papers are from Recollections... Oh, how I love these papers!! :)  I cut the tree/leaves with an MFT die and I used a Marianne die for the grass... I wanted to create a little spring scene without flowers because I'm going to give this to my dad for Easter!  To finish it up I added some hand dyed seam binding tied with a button and Scrapper's floss.

For more inspiration be sure to stop by the main challenge blog and take a look at the DT adorable creations!

That's it for today... but I will be back tomorrow with another Easter card.  Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Giraffes Gone Wild!

Good Morning everyone! Well it's time for another challenge over at OWH Stars and Stamps and it's my turn to host the challenge again! Yippee!! ...So I would like to challenge you to a theme called "Wild Thing" ...and you can interpret this challenge any way you like! Maybe an animal you would see at the zoo or in the jungle ...just let your imaginations run wild and have fun! Don't forget to link your card here. On my first card I used a Recollections stamp set and the image was colored with copics. I added a nice texture with the Tiny Bubbles Cuttlebug folder.

On my second card I couldn't resist using this adorable image from Prairie Fairy Digitals!! I colored it with Koh-i-noor pencils and blended with a paper stump and baby oil. This card also qualifies for 2 Challenges: Fairy Fun Fridays and Secret Crafter they would like to see distressing on your card! I used my sanding block for that!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!

Buttercup Fairy

Hello everyone! This sweet little Fairy is from Prairie Fairy Digitals! She's so adorable! I won the Button Bonanza and I chose her as my prize!! There is a new winner every week...so go check it out! I colored this image using a combination of Copics and colored pencils...added a touch of glossy accents to the wings. For the texture I used the Houndstooth Cuttlebug EF and I cut out a few felt flowers with a Cuttlebug die. The DP is called Origins by Basic Grey.
