Too cute for words!

Good morning everyone!

Today I have a fun art journal page to share with you featuring my sweet and adorable fur babies! I love these two so much! :)
I created a watercolor wash background with Antique Linen, Vintage Photo, Brushed Corduroy Distress inks. I stamped the paw prints using an Inky Antics stamp, the dogs are from Tim Holtz 'Crazy Dogs' stamp set and were lightly colored with Copics. The words are from a piece of 12 x 12 DP, I tore out the words that I wanted and then added distress ink to the edges. To finish my page I added the year and their names using my Dymo label maker.

Well, that's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care, Tammy

Go to your Happy Place!

Good morning everyone!

Today I wanted to share my latest Art Journal page...
I found this adorable applique pattern online and thought it was so cute! I printed it out and traced a few of the elements onto some pretty patterned papers, the other shapes were cut out using My Favorite things dies. I used Viva Decor glitter paste & MFT Sunrise Radiating Rays stencil for the sun and MFT dies for the clouds. The stamped sentiment is from Cardz TV and the sentiment stickers are from Tim Holtz. I used a Fisker stamp for the swirls and Antique Linen & Brushed Corduroy ink for the distressing.

In 2017 my husband and I purchased a new RPod camper/trailer! It's only 19 feet long but it has all of the comforts of home, unlike the pop-up trailer we had for 20 years. It has a queen bed, a wet bath, a refrigerator, gas stove and you can't see it in the photos below but on the other side the whole kitchen area slides out! I love it!!! Perfect for 3-4 nights of camping which we do several times a year during the months of May-October. And we have another one coming up real soon :)

Here it is in front of our house, were loading it up and waiting to leave on a trip, I love the retro shape!
And here's another picture, we are getting ready to enjoy a couple of cocktails and if you look closely you can see Quinn sitting near his daddy.
And here's Maddie looking precious in her chair enjoying the mountain air!
Well that's all for now... Thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care, Tammy

Puppy Love

Good morning everyone and Happy New Year

Today starts a new challenge at Moving Along with The Times
Claire is hosting the challenge and she would like to see our Thank You cards. What a great theme right after Christmas... I mailed this card to my In-Laws to thank them for all of the wonderful Christmas Gifts!
My card features one of my new super sweet stamps from Lili of the Valley- this one is called  Woof You... it's stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with Copics. The sentiments are from Hero Arts, the "Sending You Love" stamp is also new. The bingo card is from Teresa Collins, stamped with VersaMark and dusted with chalk. The DP is from The Paper Studio and to finish it up I added a photo corner cut with an QuicKutz die.

I also wanted to share a couple of pictures of our new bundle of fur!! Her name is Maddie... my husband and I adopted her from a local rescue a few weeks ago.  She's a Jack Russell Terrier mix and approximately 5 months old.
Look at that adorable face...
and here she is with her big brother Quinn!
She is such a sweetie and a perfect fit for our family. The training is going very well too- just this week she learned how to walk up the stairs (we still have to carry her down) and she learned how to walk on a leash... oh what a big girl! :)

Well, that's all from me today... thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the challenge blog and check out the fabulous creations by the other team members!

Thanksssss!

Happy Friday everone! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's
letter is... Z for Zig Zags!  I knew immediately what image I wanted to use... this adorable snake from QKR Stampede! I think it's a perfect image for zig zags and he's such a CUTE rattlesnake! LOL!
My husband and I live around some not so cute rattlesnakes!!  We actually live steps away from a Plains Conservation area... so we have our share of wildlife (coyotes, foxes, antelope & tons of gorgeous birds) and a snake or two!  We love it out here... and we take all  necessary precautions when it comes to our JRT Quinn!  I try to walk everyday and in the heat of the summer we are nowhere near this area or any of the trails because a rattlesnake could be "sunning"!  Also, my fur baby is never allowed to roam the backyard by himself in the pitch dark... I don't want a coyote to hop over the fence for a visit!  We make sure our little guy is safe and sound at all times! ...and speaking of my little guy, look what his Grammy bought him for Christmas! :)   OMGosh what a cutie!  I love his new jacket and it's perfect for our very cold and snowy walks!
Anyway, back to my card... my image is colored with Copics and cut out with the Large Deckled nesties and then I sponged around the edges.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs and the bg is embossed with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder.  I used my new MFT Chevron die to create the zig zags and to finish it up I added a hand dyed bow.

For more inspiration be sure to stop by the challenge blog and take a look at the DT fabulous creations!
Thanks so much for stopping by and I will see you tomorrow!
