Happy New Year!

Good morning everyone!
I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and I wish you all a very Happy & Healthy 2015!!

Today is the start of a new challenge at House of Cards and this month we would
like you to...

Use glitter and/or be inspired by this photo-
glittered (blues)

For my creation I made a Fun & Cute style of card featuring an image from Dearie Dolls Stamps. Isn't this stamp adorable?! It looks like they're having so much fun! :)
It's colored with Copics, I added a bit of shading with Prisma pencils and I used MFT stitched circle dies to cut it out. The sentiment is from Hero Arts and the bg is embossed with a Paper Studio folder. I used QuicKuts dies for the stars and a MB die for the tiny champagne glass. I added Dimensional Magic & Glamour Dust to the smaller stars for a 3D effect and then added some sparkle to the confetti & streamers with the Wink of Stella Pen and there you have it!

I hope you can join us and don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog for
more inspiration.

That's all for now... enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Valentine Girl

Good morning everyone!
Just a quick post today to show you a Valentine card that I made with this adorable
Dearie Dolls image!

This little cutie is colored with Copics and the paper & playing cards are from Authentique- the Smitten collection. The background is embossed with the Darice Damask folder and I used a Fiskars punch for the corners. I distressed all the edges including the doily with Vintage Photo Distress ink to give it an aged look... added a few tiny pearls and there you have it!

That's it for today, short and sweet... thanks so much for stopping by and have a
wonderful weekend!

Easter Bonnet

Happy Friday everyone!
It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's letter is C... for Coveted!  So it's time to use some of your favorite papers or embellishments from your stash!

For my card I chose this adorable bunny image from Dearie Dolls!  She's colored with Copics, cut out with the #17 Nestie and then I did a little sponging around the edges.  I used some of my favorite papers from MME the Market collection... I love this 6x6 paper pad, the colors are gorgeous!  My flowers were created with the Carnation nesties and the vellum leaves were cut with an Sizzix die.  I roughed up the edges with the Tim Holtz Paper Distresser tool before adding a touch of dark peach ink and I used a Fiskers punch for the fancy corners.  Added some tiny gems and pearls... and there you have it!
I could not get a good picture of this card... because in IRL it's a beautiful peach and light green color combo!  Darn camera! :)

That's it from me today... thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the challenge blog and check out all of the fabulous creations by the other team members!
