My card features a cute image from Bugaboo Stamp... she's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Cardz TV Stamps. I used Pink & Main dies for the stitched rounded rectangles and My Favorite Things dies for everything else.

A new challenge starts today at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we have a recipe for you to follow: 1 focal point, 1 sentiment, 2 patterned papers and 3 embellishments. 

I made a birthday card and it features a fabulous image from Bugaboo Stamps and it's colored with Copics. I used Pink & Main dies for the stitched rounded rectangles and Cuttlebug dies for the asterisk flowers. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added some sequins.

For my DT card I decided to make a 5x7 birthday card for my sweet Mother-in-law! It features gorgeous papers and cardstock stickers from the 'Party' collection kit from Authentique. I created the flowers with Simon Says Stamps Hydrangea Petals Dies and My Favorite Things circle dies. I added Antique Linen distress ink to all of the edges and the cream lace is from my stash.

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is Pretty Papers so we would like you to use 2 or more pattern papers. 

My card features a cute Riley image... it's stamped with black licorice ink onto cream cardstock and colored with Copics. I used 4 different pattern papers from My Minds Eye and the sentiment is from Wplus9. I used a Simon Says Stamp die for the large stitched rectangle and My Favorite Things dies for the flowers, stitched circle and fishtail flag. To finish it up I added gold sequins and twine with a tiny punched heart.

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is Flora or Fauna... so we would like to see Flowers and/or Animals on your cards.  

For my DT card I made a 5x5 spring card and I used the beautiful Garden Square digi stamp from QKR Stampede. It's colored with Copics and I added a bit of shading with Prisma Pencils. I didn't add a sentiment to the front because I didn't want to cover up any of the image so now I have a blank card ready for any occasions! :)

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is- Oh! Pretty Baby...

I used the sweet and fun 'Big Bear' stamp set from Reverse Confetti again :) but this time the bear is holding a little wagon with a baby bear in it... Oh I love this stamp set! The images are colored with Copics and I paper pieced the scarfs and heart. The sentiment is from Studio g and the kraft circle was embossed with the Taylored Expressions Burlap folder. I used a Avery Elle die for the stitched rectangle, My Favorite Things dies for the stitched circles, pierced rectangle and flowers, the pearls are from my stash.

My card features a sweet image from the 'Buddy and Duck' stamp set from Penny Black... it's colored with Copics and fussy cut out. I used a My Favorite Things stencil and Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink to create the sun rays and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. I used a Taylored Expressions die for the stitched clouds, Lawn Fawn die for the grass and a Avery Elle die for the stitched rectangle.

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we would like to see Red, Pink or White Hearts on your cards.

I want to donate several Valentine's Day cards this year so when I saw the cute 'Hello Sweetheart' collection from Echo Park I thought it was perfect! 

The papers are so colorful and I think the images (journaling cards) are so fun and I love how quick and easy these cards came together. I made 12 cards, all with different images and I still have a ton of paper left over for future cards! :)

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we would like to see a dimensional element on your card. 

To start- I stamped a piece of peach colored kraft cardstock with My Favorite Things Make Your Mark background stamp and VersaMark ink. I love this assorted kraft colored paper pack from Hobby Lobby because a few of the colors are so light you can really see all of the tiny fibers in them like you do in my card! 

 Anyway... All MFT images were stamped with black licorice ink, colored with Copics and then cut out with the coordinating dies. I stamped the flower twice so I could pop-up the center portion with foam tape along with the butterflies and I cut the Simon Says Stamp sentiment three times so I could layer it. You can see the dimension better in the picture below and the rest of the supplies used for this card are listed at the bottom of this post :)

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is New Year- New Stash...so we would like you to use your new crafting goodies!

I have two cards to share with you today and they feature a couple of my new stamp sets... Cocktails Blueprints by Tim Holtz and Spirited by My Favorite Things! 

The backgrounds were created with Tim Holtz Distress and Oxide inks and the water droplets stamp from Deep Red Stamps. The images were stamped twice so I could watercolor the second image, cut it out and apply it directly over the image on the inky background. Both panels were cut out with a Avery Elle wonky stitch die.

 Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time the theme is... 

Non-Traditional Christmas Colors! One of my favorite themes! :)

 My card features the adorable Frozen Fellowship stamp from Newton's Nook! It's colored with Copics and the sentiment was stamped with VersaMark ink and heat embossed with white powder. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle, a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle, a MFT die for the small stitched rectangle and to finish it up I added highlights/detailing with a white Posca pen.

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we would like to see Pumpkins on your cards!  

My card features beautiful papers from Graphic 45 Children's Hour collection... this time I used papers from the months of October and November. All of the edges were distressed and to finish it up I added some orange twine and a gem.

Here's a peek of the inside- I stamped the Hero Arts sentiment on cream cardstock, added a strip of DP from the same collection and then cut the rectangle out using a stitched die from Avery Elle.

My card features a cute little witch from Meljen's Designs... unfortunately her digital images are no longer available to purchase. It's colored with Copics, the sentiment is from Crafty Secrets and all of the edges were distressed. The lime green background was created with the Stampendous Haunting stamp and VersaMark ink and the orange panel was embossed with a Darice folder. I used Tim Holtz dies for the tiny bats, Simon Says Stamp dies for the stitched rectangles and to finish it up I added some purple gems.

Yummy Candy Corn!

A new challenge starts today over at Cardz 4 Galz and the theme is... Fancy Folds!

I decided to make a little gift bag and gate fold card and they feature my new Candy Corn stamp set from Newton's Nook! Don't you just love that fun sentiment?!! The candy corns are stamped in MFT Black Licorice ink, colored with Copics and the papers are from Doodlebug Design. I used a Lawn Fawn die for the goodie bag and then created a clear circle window so you could see the yummy candy corns inside :)
