Happy Friday everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and this time it's Sheryl's turn to host the challenge and she chose the fabulous theme...

Lace and Flowers! 

For my card I used the super cute Cat Icon dies from Paper Smooches and the sentiment was cut with a CB die... so NO stamping at all on this card! The papers are from Kaiser Craft, I created the flowers with paper punches, the pearls, twine and lace are all from my stash.  

This will also be my last post as a design team member for Fussy and Fancy as I have decided to step down from the team. It's been a wonderful year working alongside such a talented team, thank you ladies!

This week it's my turn to host the challenge and I would like to see your Anniversary themed cards or you can make a Wedding card!  

This is a very busy month for wedding anniversaries in my family... I need to make 3 cards and this is the card that I made for my parents... it features two images from the 'Meoples Once Upon' stamp set from C.C. Designs, aren't they adorable?!! They're stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. I used MFT dies for the clouds and pierced rectangle, a Impression Obsession die for the castle and to create the ground I used the dotted border die from Avery Elle.

A Recipe Poem...

Happy Friday everyone!

 Today starts a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and this time it's Jo's turn to host the challenge and she has a wonderful Recipe for us to follow...

"Create a design and have some fun,

Use this recipe and your work will be done,

Just use black and white to make a start,

But then add some red , a flowers and a little love heart"

So with that cute poem in mind this is what I created...

I decided to make a card with a quilting/sewing theme... I used my new WPlus9 Design Studio Quilt Cuts die and cut black, white & red cardstock, then cut the other pieces out of designer papers that had hearts & flowers on them... so with one 2x2 quilt block I covered everything mentioned in the recipe! :) The adorable little bunny is from Handmade Harbour and the sentiment is from Pink Cat Studio.

A Monochromatic Birthday

 Today starts a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and the theme is Monochromatic and since it's one of my favorite themes I thought I would join team A this week!

Our fabulous sponsor is The Paper Shelter and my card features the sweet Happy Birthday to me image! It's colored with Copics, the ticket/die is from Whimsy Stamps and I used a Little Yellow Bicycle die for the word 'smile'. I used a Poppy Stamps die for the stitched buttons, the paper is from Recollections and the bg was embossed with the CB Mesh folder. I've added a touch of Walnut Stain Distress ink to all of the edges and to finish it up I added my brads.

Make a Fashion Statement!

I made a 5x7 card featuring the beautiful Audrey Loves her Makeup stamp from Stamping Bella! She's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copic and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp. The Skyline border & photo corner dies are from MFT and I used Joy Crafts dies to create the flowers. The papers are from MME, the edges have been distressed with Walnut Stain Distress ink and to finish it up I added the pearls.

A Christmas Story...

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and this time it's Annie's turn to host the challenge and she chose the fabulous theme...
Words!
So, she would like to see your wonderful sentiments, a favorite poem or maybe a funny phrase on your creation... so many possibilities!   
I knew immediately what stamp I wanted to use for our challenge... my new 'Christmas Story' background stamp from Penny Black! I love this stamp and think it's perfect for our challenge with all of the different Christmas words on it! :) It's stamped with VersaMark ink onto kraft cardstock and then dusted with a touch of brown chalk. The sentiment was cut with Little B dies and the adorable snowman was cut with a Sizzix die. The papers are from The Paper Studio and Jillibean Soups, both with words on them! I used a Poppy Stamp die for the tiny buttons and to finish it up I added a small punched heart and a raffia bow.

For my DT card I used an adorable image from Lili of the Valley...  she's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used MFT dies for the Pierced Fishtails flags and Stitched circles, the papers are from MME. I created the flowers with a Joy Crafts die and the leaves were cut with a Spellbinder die... added my pearls and it's done! I've worked with this image several times and I love the rich colors on this card, it might be my favorite! :)

Hello Autumn...

Happy Friday everyone!

 Today starts a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy and this time it's Eileen's turn to host the challenge and she chose the fabulous theme...
Autumn Colors! 

My card features the adorable 'Friendly Scarecrow' image from Northwoods Stamps... it's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and I added a bit of shading with Prisma pencils. The paper is from BoBunny and I embossed the orange panel with a WRMK chain folder. The 'hello' sentiment was cut with a CB die, I used a QuicKutz die for the the large leaves and a $1 punch for the tiny leaves. MFT dies were used for the corner & cornstalks and all of the edges have been distressed with Vintage Photo ink.

Lazy Summer Days

For my DT card I used a sweet mini Magnolia stamp- Tilda with Cherry Ice... Isn't she adorable?! She's colored with Copics and cut out with a MFT die. The flowers were created with Joy Craft & Spellbinder dies and I added a generous amount of Perfect Pearls Mist to them...   

here's a closer look of the image and the shimmer on the flowers. 

This is my first Magnolia Tilda card. I've always been a little intimidated to color one up, but I did it and I'm happy with the way it turned out... I just might have to buy a regular size Tilda stamp now! :)

My card features one of the adorable 'Messy Bessy' images... she colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from Recollections, MME & Kaiser crafts. The flowers were cut with a Spellbinder die, I used a QuicKutz die for the palm tree and a Momenta die for the sea shell. I covered a clear button with some matching DP, added a bit of sparkle to her hair & floatie with the Wink of Stella pen... the hand dyed seam binding and pearls are from my stash.
