Here Comes Summer...

Good morning everyone!

I'm thrilled to share my card today because I have been invited to be a Guest Designer at Try it on Tuesday! Thank you to Jo and the TIOT team for inviting me :) 

The theme for the next two weeks is 'Here Comes Summer' and my card features a cute image from C.C. Designs... she's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Taylored Expressions. To create the background I used: Lindy's Magicals, Carved Pumpkin DOI mixed with Viva Glitter Paste, MFT Confetti stencil and Brushed Corduroy ink for the sand.

 The adorable little crab was cut with a Spellbinders die and I used Impression Obsession dies for the beach pail & shovel. The rounded rectangle was cut with a Pink & Main die and I used a MFT die for the sun.

Today starts a new challenge at Cardz 4 Galz and this time we would like to see Rubber or Acrylic Stamping on your cards... NO digis!

My card features an adorable image from C.C. Designs... it's stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink, colored with Copics and the heart paper is from The Paper Studio. I used a CottageCutz die for the eyelet circles, MFT dies for the pierced heart & rectangle and a Avery Elle Die for the large stitched rectangle.

It's time for a new Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge AND as always it's Anything Goes as long as you create a Christmas card or project!

My card features a sweet C.C. Designs image... it's stamped with MFT Black Licorice ink and colored with Copics, the sentiment is an old $1 stamp from Michaels. I used MFT dies for the stitched circle and pierced fishtail flags, the snowflakes were cut with a CB dies.

 Today I have a super fun Valentine's Day card to share with you... 

It features an image from C.C. Designs... isn't that cat adorable?!
It's stamp with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. I used a Echo Park die for the Heart Doily and MFT dies for the stitched rounded rectangle, fishtail flag and pierced hearts. All of the edges have been distressed and I decided not to add a sentiment to the front of the card because I think the dp says it all! :)

Peek-a-Boo Cards

Hello everyone!

A quick post from me today to share a couple of fun cards.

The first card features a cute flower image from Simon Says Stamp 'Happy Days' stamp set and the adorable little dragon is from C.C. Designs. 

I used a MFT Peek-a-Boo die for the stitched window and a Avery Elle die for the Wonky Stitches. I created a shaker element for the dragon card with my new Fuse Tool! OMGosh I LOVE this tool! Now shaker cards are so easy to make! :)

My Little Princess...

I'm thrilled to share my card with you today because I will be joining the fabulous ladies over at Fantasy Stampers once again as their Guest Designer for the month of August! 

The current challenge is Peaches and Cream and my card is for the Midway Motivation post and it features a couple of adorable images from the 'Meoples Once Upon' stamp set from C.C. Designs.

These little cuties are stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The rectangles and tiny clouds were cut with Avery Elle dies and I used MFT dies for the tree, stitched circle and pierced fishtail flag... added a few punched flowers and pearls and it's done!

 It's time for a new challenge at Fussy and Fancy!

This week it's my turn to host the challenge and I would like to see your Anniversary themed cards or you can make a Wedding card!  

This is a very busy month for wedding anniversaries in my family... I need to make 3 cards and this is the card that I made for my parents... it features two images from the 'Meoples Once Upon' stamp set from C.C. Designs, aren't they adorable?!! They're stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. I used MFT dies for the clouds and pierced rectangle, a Impression Obsession die for the castle and to create the ground I used the dotted border die from Avery Elle.

The Bride of Frankenstein

Good morning everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a Halloween card with you! It features an image from C.C. Designs... Isn't she adorable?!! I don't think this little Bride of Frankenstein would scare anyone because she's so cute!  

She's stamped with Memento Black ink, colored with Copics and I paper pieced her dress & the bow in her hair. The background was embossed with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder, the sentiment was cut with a Paper Smooches die and I used Memory Box dies for the ghosts & spiders. I filled the shaker portion with sequins and a confetti mix that included some really fun bats & ghosts, the DP's and cheesecloth are from my stash... and there you have it- a not too spooky Halloween card! :o)

Enamel Dots

Good morning everyone! 

Today is the start of a new challenge at House of Cards and this month we would like to see Enamel Dots on your creations! 

I have three cards to show you today and they feature images from C.C. Designs the 'Kisses and Hugs' stamp set. They're stamped with Memento black ink, colored with Copics and I used several Stitched Rounded Rectangle dies from MFT to cut everything out. The sentiment on this card was computer generated...

and the 'Some bunny' sentiment on the next two cards came with the stamp set. The enamel dots are from Recollections, I used a EK Success punch to round the corners and to finish them up I added a couple of punched hearts :)

Happy Friday everone! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's

letter is... Z for Zig Zags!  I knew immediately what image I wanted to use... this adorable snake from QKR Stampede! I think it's a perfect image for zig zags and he's such a CUTE rattlesnake! LOL!

My husband and I live around some not so cute rattlesnakes!!  We actually live steps away from a Plains Conservation area... so we have our share of wildlife (coyotes, foxes, antelope & tons of gorgeous birds) and a snake or two!  We love it out here... and we take all  necessary precautions when it comes to our JRT Quinn!  I try to walk everyday and in the heat of the summer we are nowhere near this area or any of the trails because a rattlesnake could be "sunning"!  Also, my fur baby is never allowed to roam the backyard by himself in the pitch dark... I don't want a coyote to hop over the fence for a visit!  We make sure our little guy is safe and sound at all times! ...and speaking of my little guy, look what his Grammy bought him for Christmas! :)   OMGosh what a cutie!  I love his new jacket and it's perfect for our very cold and snowy walks!  

Anyway, back to my card... my image is colored with Copics and cut out with the Large Deckled nesties and then I sponged around the edges.  The sentiment is from C.C. Designs and the bg is embossed with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder.  I used my new MFT Chevron die to create the zig zags and to finish it up I added a hand dyed bow.

Designs!   She's colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The bg is embossed with the Sizzix Dots folder and the scalloped border is cut with an MFT die.  I used a MS layering Daisy punch to create my flowers and the papers are from K&Company.  Added a few gems & pearls and there you have it!

You Are Fabulous

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday! 

Today I would like to share a creation with you that I made for one of my nieces!  She turns 17 on Friday!  I've had this image colored for a while and over the weekend I finally had a chance to create a card with it...  and I just love how it turned out!  I think she will too! :)   

This little cutie is Polka Dot Emma from C. C. Designs and she's colored with Copics.  The sentiment is a $1 from Michaels and the dp is from My Mind's Eye.  The bg is emboss with the QuicKutz Swirls folder and the numbers are cut out with my new Sizzix/Tim Holtz Typeset die.  Added a few paper flowers, black gems and a fun polka dot feather to finish it all up!

'Tis the season to be Jolly!

Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share with you a fun Christmas card... my last one!  WooHoo!! 

This adorable reindeer is a rubber stamp from C.C. Designs and it's colored with Copics.  The postage stamp sentiment/die cut is from Whimsy Stamps and the fabulous dp is from Jillibean Soups.  The bg panel is embosed with the CB Snowflakes folder.  I punched a couple different sizes of snowflakes... added some Glamour Dust and red gems and voila it's done!
