Good morning everyone!

Today is the start of a new challenge at Sparkles Monthly and our theme is Babies...  

I decided to do something a little different this time and create a inky background instead of using DP. I used Victorian Velvet and Cracked Pistachio Distress Oxide inks- I really like these two colors together :) The cute giraffe is from Vera Lane Studio and it's colored with Copics. I used a Pink & Main die for the stitched rectangle, a MFT die for the sun, a Lawn Fawn die for the grass and a Avery Elle die for the clouds.

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Creatalicious and this time we want to see your 

Baby cards...

I decided to make a peach & mint colored baby card and it features an adorable Baby Fairy image from Sweet November... it's stamped with Memento Black ink and colored with Copics. The polka dot paper is from MME, the background panel was embossed with the Darice Damask folder and then lightly sanded, the sentiment is from Studio g. I used a EK punch for the corners and a MS punch for the vellum butterflies. I couldn't get a very good picture of this card because in real life the baby's peach onesie matches the light peach distressed cardstock perfectly!

 It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!  
This week it's Marita's turn to host the challenge and she chose the wonderful theme...
Babies!  
Our sponsor this week is Stitchy Bear Stamps and my card features their beautiful A Mother's Love image.  I cut the image out with a Classic Rectangle nestie, added a touch of shading/coloring with a couple of Copics and then I sponged around the edges with Broken China Distress ink.  I roughed up all the edges including the DCWV dp and then added more Broken China distress ink.  The Sentiment is a $1 stamp from Michaels... the hand dyed seam binding, feather and pearls are all from my stash.

It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is... "What's New?!" New baby, new job, new year... so many possibilities!  For my DT card I chose this sweet image from Paper Pretties that I won and it's comes with 3 sentiments!  How cool is that?!! It's colored with Copics and the papers are from Doodlebug Design and Paper Salon.  I created my paper flowers with the Rose Creations nesties, the button and gems are from my stash and I hand dyed some seam binding to match!  I love how bright it turned out!

Good Afternoon! I have a card I would like to share with you today. This adorable Baby is a digi from Bugaboo Stamps! It's such a sweet image and I love the little pacifier!! My image is colored with a combination of Bics and Copics. Other supplies used: Swiss Dots Cuttlebug EF, QuicKutz tab die, white opaque gel pen, corner punch and buttons. This cute little image is from Pink Cat Studio! The stamp set is called Tweet. I love it because there is so many fun images and sentiments. Koh-i-noor pencils and baby oil were used to color the image. The baby oil works the same as Gamsol or OMS. I used paper stumps for blending. Added a "cutie" charm and there you have it!!
