Patriotic Pups :)

Good morning everyone and happy Friday!

I wanted to pop in real quick today and share a couple of 4th of July cards that feature very cute dogs!
On my first card I used a coloring page and on my second card I used a digital stamp from Eureka Stamps. Both are colored with Copics, the sentiments are Stampendous & Tim Holtz and most of the papers are from Pebbles- the American collection.
That's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by and for all of my US friends I hope you have a safe and Happy 4th of July weekend!

Butterfly Wings...

Hello everyone!

Today I'm sharing my latest Art Journal page and I wanted to incorporate some of my 'Favorite Things' which is the current theme over at Art Journal Journey. A few of my favorite things are... butterflies, creating bright-sparkly backgrounds and coloring... I absolutely love to color especially with my alcohol markers! :)
These cute butterflies are from Jess Volinski's 'Color Animals' coloring book :) I really like all of the images in the coloring book but the pages are very thin so I printed them out on a thicker piece of paper/cardstock. They were colored with Copics, cut out and the sentiment/quote is computer generated. For the background I used Lindy's Magicals, American Craft stencils, Carved Pumpkin DOI, a script stamp and Viva Glitter Paste.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for the comments you leave!

home sweet home

Happy Monday everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share a card that I made for my parents who recently bought a new house. I found this image online and think it's so cute and perfect for them... they have a cat and two dogs and the cat rules the house! :)
It's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Penny Black. The papers are from MME and I created the circle flowers with punches. I used a Sizzix die for the dotted rectangle and a Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle.

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

Happy Easter

Good morning everyone!

I wanted to pop in today and share the Easter card that I made for my
wonderful In-laws!
I was searching the internet for a vintage type Easter image and came across this coloring book website... Isn't that bunny adorable?! It's colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. I used a Sizzix die for the Dotted Rectangle and a Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle. MFT dies were used to create the flowers and I added Walnut Stain ink to the edges to give it a vintage feel.
It's on it's way to Arizona right now, I hope they like it! :)

Thanks so much for stopping by... I'll see you soon!

top o' the mornin' to ya

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at Creatalicious and this time we want to see your St. Patrick's Day cards or use Green...
For my card I used a fun coloring page image that I found while surfing the web...
this handsome chap is colored with Copics and the sentiment is computer generated. The papers are from Die Cut with a View and The Paper Studio. I used a MFT die for the four-leaf clover, rounded one of the corners and distressed all of the edges and there you have it... a very bright lime green St. Patrick's day card! :)

Our sponsor is Di's Digi Stamps so make sure you stop by the challenge blog for the prize details and for more inspiration from the DT!
