Colorful Butterflies

Good morning everyone!

Today starts a new challenge at House of Cards and this month we would
like you to... Add a butterfly, use the colors or both.
For my card I chose this fabulous Fairy Fae image from Delicious Doodles... It's colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. The background is embossed with the QuicKutz Swirls folder and I used a MS punch for the butterflies... added a few light blue gems and it's done! :) I love how this card turned out and it was so fun to color!
Here's a close up of the beautiful image.
I hope you can join us and don't forget to pop on over to the main challenge blog for
more inspiration.

Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

For Someone Special

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times!
This week it's Shell's turn to host the challenge and she would like to see our creations for... Someone Special at Christmas
I decided to make a Christmas card for my wonderful In-Laws! It features the beautiful On a Winter's Day image by Delicious Doodles... I printed the image in a sepia tone and then added a touch of glitter to the snow with the Wink of Stella pen. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug 5 x7 Winter Frolic folder, I used Walnut DI for the distressing and the sentiment is computer generated. The poinsettias were cut out with Spellbinder dies, spritzed with a little Perfect Pearls Mist and then I coated them with Rock Candy Distress Stickles... you can't see it very well in the photo- but this card is
so sparkly IRL! :)

Now head on over to the challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations by the other team members!

That's it for now... enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

HOC Blog Hop

Welcome to the House of Cards Term One Blog Hop!  If you've arrived here from Nonni's blog then you are in the right place.  If not, pop on over to the House of Cards challenge blog because you don't want to miss anything along the way!  We've got some fabulous sponsors that are providing prizes, so make sure to leave comments at each stop for a chance to win!

This month we're doing things a little different.  Our challenge will run from December 1st until December 15th and ANY CARD STYLE is welcome and we have a beautiful photo inspiration for you to work with!
For my first creation I went with a Vintage Style card using an image from Delicious Doodles called Christmas Candles.  I love how this card turned out!  The poinsettias are layered and the entire card has been spritzed with Perfect Pearls Mist.  The seed beads are a gorgeous silver color and I made a little charm with a Swarovski crystal in the center to match!
For my next creation I decided to make a Fun & Cute gift bag using an adorable image from Dilly Bean Stamps! This gift bag came together so fast... and it's perfect for smaller Christmas gifts! You can't see it in the photo but his hat & scarf are covered with Rock Candy Distress Stickles.  I know I've said this before but I LOVE this stuff... when dry, it looks like sugar! :)
Well, that's all from me today... your next stop on the hop is Vannessa's blog.

Have fun hopping and thanks so much for stopping by!
Hugs, Tammy
