Autumn is in the Air...

Good morning everyone!

A new challenge starts today at Try it on Tuesday and the theme is... 
Autumn Blessings and this time I decided to make an art journal page :)
I created a watercolor wash/splatter background with Distress Oxide inks and a misc. leaf stamp. I cut three ovals for the pumpkin, colored them with ink and then stamped a few flourishes. I used a burlap folder to emboss the ground portion, a Lawn Fawn die for the leaves and a MFT die for swirls- all were colored with Oxide inks. I cut the 'Autumn' word out with a Echo Park die, stamped some extra sentiments and to finish it up I added a orange twine bow and that's about it!

    Wow, what a stunning card! The autumnal colours look glorious and what better way to celebrate autumn then with pumpkins, I love everything pumpkin this time of year so this is perfect for me 😁.     Tammy, I look forward to your art journal pages, they are all so beautiful, I hope to dabble in this when I retire. This one is fabulous, like the background with the leaves and how you created the pumpkin out of ovals. So creative my friend.

    Clever way to use your oval dies to make a pumpkin, and I like the tone on tone flourishes and how you "grounded" the pumpkin with burlap paper. And I do love the warm autumnal colors.

    Beautiful rich Autumnal colours, with the delicate leafy stampings and splashes. The torn strip of embossed paper grounds it all so beautifully.
    The pumpkin looks ripe and ready for picking, what a super time of year.

    WOW - I love all the delicate textures you added to this journal page! The scrolling pattern in the pumpkin is beautiful and it's works so well with the skeleton leaf work in the background! Gorgeous job Tammy!
