Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing my latest Art Journal page and I wanted to incorporate some of my 'Favorite Things' which is the current theme over at Art Journal Journey. A few of my favorite things are... butterflies, creating bright-sparkly backgrounds and coloring... I absolutely love to color especially with my alcohol markers! :)
These cute butterflies are from Jess Volinski's 'Color Animals' coloring book :) I really like all of the images in the coloring book but the pages are very thin so I printed them out on a thicker piece of paper/cardstock. They were colored with Copics, cut out and the sentiment/quote is computer generated. For the background I used Lindy's Magicals, American Craft stencils, Carved Pumpkin DOI, a script stamp and Viva Glitter Paste. Thanks so much for stopping by and for the comments you leave!

Hi Tammy! Your mixed media layering is so inspirational for me! I always blow up the photos so that I can see all of the wonderful details you incorporate into each piece! I love the gold glitter dots on this one - it looks like the butterflies are flying through bits of sunshine! Beautiful! Take care and stay safe!

I absolutely LOVE your journal page, Tammy. Those butterflies are So well colored and I like how you reinforced them, too.
