New Beginnings

Happy Monday everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Creatalicious and this month the theme is...
New Beginnings
So think- new baby, new job, new year... and so on!
I wanted to make a New Year card for my wonderful In-laws! They are huge dog lovers and own two themselves so I thought this adorable Clark image from Paper Pretties would be perfect! It's colored with Copics, the paper is from Bazzill and I used a EK Success punch to round the corners. I used a Tim Holtz stamp and VersaMark ink for the clock bg and I cut the numbers out with the Tim Holtz Typeset die. I punched the stars out of a heavy gold cs, added Dimensional Magic and sprinkled them with Glamour dust while they were still wet... they turned out so sparkly and I love the 3D effect!

This month we have two fabulous sponsors... Stamp and Create and Di Digi Stamps so make sure you stop by the challenge blog for the prize details and to see the gorgeous creations by the other team members!

That's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by!

As much as I love Christmas, this was a wonderfully refreshing card to see! I love the thought of celebrating the new year with a card and this card in particular could not be more adorable! I love the energy this card has and I thought it was so clever to include clocks in the background. I also think that cards are so meaningful when they're personalized, so I'm sure your in-laws will love this! Thanks for sharing this with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
