Good morning everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week it's my turn to host the challenge and I chose the theme...
ADD TEXTURE!
Any type of texture will do- fabric, twine, lace, embossing, texture paste etc...
And remember you don't have to make a card... your project can be anything at all, as long as you follow the theme! :)
I decided to make a 5 x 7 birthday card for my wonderful Father-in-Law and it features the adorable Fisher Moose image from Meljen's! It's colored with Copic, the sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from Authentique. For the background I used the Burlap stencil from Tim Holtz and some modeling paste, for the circles I used the Confetti stencil from Heidi Swapp, sponged in VersaMark ink and then embossed them with Aged Ivory Frantage. I cut the fish (CB die) and button (MFT die) out of corrugated kraft cardstock, distressed everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink and to finish it up I added a little raffia and a screw brad. Whew! A lot going on with this card but it was so fun to make and the best part was... my FIL loved it!
