Star of Bethlehem

Good Morning everyone!
I'm back for my second week as the September Guest Designer at Tuesday Throwdown!

The theme this week is Anything Goes and the sponsor is My Heart Pieces... my cards features the sweet Christmas digi called Star of Bethlehem.
I added a touch of color with Copics, the postage stamp sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps and the papers are from Echo Park- the Season's Greetings collection.  A QuicKutz die was used for the angel and a EK Success punch for the corners.  All of the edges have been distressed with Vintage Photo Distress ink and to finish it up I added some rhinestones.

Thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to
Tuesday Throwdown to join the fun!

Gosh Tammy, your colouring is very different from the 'traditional' Christmas colours but it works beautifully. I feel as though I'm in the stable. The die cut angel is a lovely element and your sentiment encompasses the real meaning of Christmas. You have put so much thought into your Christmas card and the final result is stunning. Good luck in our challenge this week. Ingrid xx (OSAAT Team)

These brown and sepia toned colors work so well with a Christmas card. It's a bit different, and I like the vintage feel it gives your card. Such a sweet angel image, and I do like the postmark sentiment as well!
