Embossing!
Our wonderful sponsor is Bearly Mine Designs and I chose one of the Halloween freebie papers to work with... love this spooky paper! The little mummy is a image that I won from Paper Makeup... I love him too, so cute and scary! :) I colored him with Copics and the sentiment is from Crafty Secrets. I embossed the oval background with the CB Tiny Bubbles folder and I used the CB Distressed Stripes folder for the moon. I used $1 punches for the circles & spiders and a MS punch for the bats. Well, there you have it... my first Halloween card for 2013!

just visited a museum this after-noon and seen a real-mummy of a priest and the figure lid displaye in a semi-darkened room very eerie

Okay, you're a very organized card maker to be having beautiful Halloween cards now. Officially a little jealous, LOL. But seriously, this is a terrific card - it has just the right amount of spooky with a sense of fun! Love the purple and black, it makes the mummy really pop against the background. I love using purple for the mummy, an unexpected and perfect touch!
