It's time for a new challenge at Crafty Calendar and this month the theme is...
Blooms and Blossoms!
Our fabulous sponsor is Heather Ellis who provide the images for us to work with! This is one of Heather's Pure Innocence images, Isn't she a cutie?!!
I wanted to make something a little different so I created this simple pocket card and matching tag! Usually the tag is larger but I added a packet of seeds and made the tag smaller... that way both will fit in the pocket. Perfect for our challenge theme and perfect for my mom... I'm going to give this to my mom for Mother's Day along with a few other goodies! :)
Anyway, this sweet image is colored with Copics and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. The bright yellow paper is from Recollections and the tag was cut with an QuicKuts die. I used a small EK Success punch for the flowers and a Cuttlebug die for the heart... added my hand dyed seam binding and pearls and there you have it!

Oh, this is so sweet and pretty! Love all the brightness and spring colors and of course the image is adorable. Perfect card for Mother's Day and love the way you added the pocket for a package of seeds. I'll have to do one like this for a good friend of mine as a "just because" card!
