Good Morning everyone and Happy Friday! It's Alphabet Challenge time and today's
letter is...W for Winter White! So, no color what-so-ever!
OMGosh I thought to myself... this is going to be so hard because most of the time sunglasses are required when you view my blog! LOL :) But, then I remembered I found these ornament shaped chipboard pieces from the $1 bin at Michaels and thought they would be perfect for cards with no coloring! So, I started out by painting the chipboad pieces with white acrylic paint. Then I added a very thin layer of Aleen's clear gel and sprinkled them with tons of Crystal Glamour dust. WOW are they sparkly IRL! The oval is cut with an QuicKutz die, the background is embossed with a Sizzix ornament folder and I added pearls to finish them up. I made six of them and I'm very pleased with the way they turned out and the most important thing is that I'm not afraid to create an all white card anymore! :)
For more inspiration make sure you stop by the challenge blog and take a look at the DT gorgeous creations!
Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend! I'll be back on Monday (if not sooner) with a card that I'm working on and some very exciting news!!
