Good morning everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend!
Today I have another Art Journal page to share with you :)
My background was created by using a smooshing technique with acetate, Victorian Velvet & Gathered Twigs Distress Oxide Inks. Once dry- I splattered gold acrylic paint and then heat embossed the sentiment & zigzag stitches with gold powder. I used Tim Holtz Measured stencil and MFT Confetti stencil with Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel.
These stylish ladies are from the 'Simplicity Vintage' stamp set from Inkadinkado. I picked this stamp set up in the clearance aisle at Hobby Lobby for $2.50 what a deal! They were stamped with Ranger Coffee ink, cut out and then colored with Copics and glitter/metallic pens.
And here's a close up of the sentiment.
Well, that's it for today... thanks so much for stopping by!
Take care, Tammy

ReplyDeleteOoooH! I love this color combination! I never would have thought it was these two inks together! I need to try the smooshing technique more - I think the inks give you a wider range of colors and show a lot more differences! Take care!
