all is CALM, all is BRIGHT

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Sparkles Christmas and the theme this month is...
Festive Things with Wings.

For my DT card I used the adorable 'Winter Sparrows' stamp & die set from Lawn Fawn. The sparrows were stamped onto watercolor paper and colored with Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors. The birch trees & sentiment are from Avery Elle's 'Let it Snow' stamp set. I stamped the snow using Altnew's 'Snowing' stamp and pigment white ink, the trees were cut with Newton's Nook dies and coated with Glitter Dust Spray. 
The trees look black in the photo but they are actually stamped in a brown archival ink. I think next time I stamp directly onto kraft cardstock I'll have to make sure I use a lighter ink color :)

    Hey Tammy! So happy to see you pop up in our Alphabet Challenge Gallery! : ) I love this mix-n-match of stamps with the die cut pine trees! This is such a great scene and I love the fact that it's not a traditional Christmas color palette but something that looks like the "real" woods! It's really beautiful! Take care!

    What an absolutely adorable card - what gorgeous little birds. Love the one with the ear muffs, or is it listening to music? I love the fact that you have used kraft card to make your card and that white looks so good on there. Great card!
