Hello everyone!
Today I'm sharing another Nail Polish Art card with you... it's our current challenge over at Back to Basics and Beyond. Please see the previous post if you would like a link to a great tutorial or see my other nail polish art card :)
This time I used 3 colors to create my nail polish marbling... a chartreuse, sky blue and a cheap black and I really like how it turned out! I used Tim Holtz Crazy Dogs stamp set- the images were colored with Copics and the sentiment was heat embossed with white powder. I created the paw print with punches and used a burlap folder for the embossing. I used My Favorite Things dies for the circles and fishtail flag, a Lawn Fawn die for the Zig Zag rectangle and a Sizzix/Tim Holtz die for the double stitched rectangle.
Quinn and Maddie (our fur babies) gave this card to their daddy Sunday for Father's Day and he loved it!

ReplyDeleteTammy - this is FANTASTIC! This color combo is amazing and it looks like alcohol inks but even better! You have inspired me to give this technique another try and it really works well as a background to those crazy Tim Holtz critters!
