Good morning everyone!
I have a very special Art Journal/Calendar page to share with you today! In less than a week my husband and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary!! :) WOW I can't believe it's been 30years... time really does fly by! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful
man in my life for all of these years!
So for my page this month I wanted to combine our anniversary, the 'Time Flies' theme over at Art-Journal-Journey and lots of mixed
media goodies!
My background was created by using a smooshing technique with acetate, Antique Linen & Brushed Corduroy Distress Inks. I stenciled a few clocks using the TCW time travel stencil, added Tim Holtz Melange Tissue Wrap and then randomly added some Viva glitter paste... very hard to see in the photo. I stamped some faux zig zag stitching and a few postage stamps. I used a couple of dies for the vintage clock & love sentiment and added some TH ephemera pieces. The butterflies were coated with TH Crackle paint and the sentiment & date were computer generated.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! We hit the 30-year mark a couple of years ago and it's a big one!! I love the layering on this journal page! I had to look twice at the stitching to figure out if it was real or "faux"! Really nice detail! Hope you have a wonderful celebration!

One nice thing about being a bit late visiting is it's closer to your upcoming milestone anniversary. Congratulations, especially in this day and age where many couples have trouble making it through 10 years.

Immensely happy anniversary wishes to you and your DH! What a milestone date for you both. This coming October will mark 16 years for me and my husband. We married relatively young (I was 20, he was 24 at the time), so I have very high hopes that we'll be able to follow in your footsteps and toast our own 30th in another 14 years.
