Golden Butterflies

Good morning everyone! 

Today I'm sharing a card featuring a couple of gorgeous butterflies from Hero Arts. The background was created with some very old shimmer ink sprays from Recollections. After that layer dried, I sprayed it with Tim Holtz Distress resist spray, sprinkled it with Simon Says Stamp gold detailing powder and heat embossed it. The butterflies were also heat embossed in gold and watercolored with the same ink colors.  
Here's a close up of one of the butterflies and the inky- gold background. 
I used the coordinating dies to cut out the butterflies, an Avery Elle die for the wonky stitched rectangle and the sentiment is from Tim Holtz.

    This is absoluely stunning Tammy!! WOW! I didn't know that you could heat emboss over that resist spray! Now I need to give it a try! The butterflies are so stunning!! TFS! HUGS

    This is pretty, Tammy but oh, I bet it's so much prettier in real life! That gold ep on top of the shimmer will look glorious and the coordinating flutterbies will just enhance it. Lovely colours. Thank you so much for playing in our 'In My Garden there is...' challenge at Try it on Tuesday.

    Hey Tammy! This card is beautiful : ) I love the way you integrated the coloration between the background and the butterflies - this one is really special! The background almost looks like agate or turquoise stone with a vein of gold - very COOL! Thanks for providing the tips on how you got this to work!

    Gorgeous card Tammy - love the butterflies and colour combo ( love that). I'm wondering is blue and green your favourite colour combo or is it just a current colour thing you like? It sure makes for happy cards :)
    I lost my stamping mojo after doing it for about 25 years - but now getting back after recently getting a stamping platform and the lots of Altenew layering flower stamps :)
    Your lovely cards inspire me and make me want to stamp even more...
