Hello everyone!
Today I have another card to share that I created using Distress Oxide Inks...
For the background- I sponged Cracked Pistachio and Fossilized Amber Oxide inks onto mixed media paper. Next, I misted the TH lace stencil with water and then 'stamped' it on the inked paper, after a few minutes I removed the stencil and let the paper air dry. I used the same Oxide inks to watercolor the Hero Arts butterflies and then cut them out with a coordinating die. The sentiment was cut with a Simon Says Stamp die and I used a Avery Elle die for the stitched rectangle.
I love how this card turned out... I will definitely use this this technique again :)
Enjoy your day and thanks so much for stopping by!

I don’t think I’ve ever thought of using a stencil on an already inked background. And to use it as a stamp with water, how clever is that! Love the effect!
