I Still Get Butterflies When I See You


Hello everyone!
 Today I would like to share a couple of CAS cards with you.  For me, I think CAS designs can be a little challenging... I want to keep adding more crafty items to my card! LOL!  But, I love how these turned out!  Very clean and very simple to make... because I used my new Hero Arts/Sizzix- stamp & die cut set...  so NO fussy cutting going on here! :)

I stamped the butterflies onto watercolor paper in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then watercolored them with only Mustard Seed Distressed Ink... depending on how much water I used gave them their monochromatic colors... then I used the matching dies to cut them out!  The base of the cards were embossed with the CB Everyday Greeting folder and the sentiment  is from MFT.  I also dyed my seam blinding with the same Mustard Seed Ink... and to finish them up I colored the pearls with a Copic marker, I wanted to make sure they were nice and colorful!

    Your CAS cards are SO beautiful - you've got the amount of elements just right! Your butterflies are lovely in yellow and orange, and they look great against the white, embossed background. You nailed it with these ones, Tammy!

    Oooo...so pretty! The embossed background with the pearl centers add so much to the card without taking the focus away from the butterflies. Very lovely!
