Add Texture!

Good morning everyone!

It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times and this week it's my turn to host the challenge and I chose the theme...

ADD TEXTURE!

Any type of texture will do- fabric, twine, lace, embossing, texture paste etc...

And remember you don't have to make a card... your project can be anything at all, as long as you follow the theme! :)

I decided to make a 5 x 7 birthday card for my wonderful Father-in-Law and it features the adorable Fisher Moose image from Meljen's! It's colored with Copic, the sentiment is computer generated and the papers are from Authentique. For the background I used the Burlap stencil from Tim Holtz and some modeling paste, for the circles I used the Confetti stencil from Heidi Swapp, sponged in VersaMark ink and then embossed them with Aged Ivory Frantage. I cut the fish (CB die) and button (MFT die) out of corrugated kraft cardstock, distressed everything with Vintage Photo Distress ink and to finish it up I added a little raffia and a screw brad. Whew! A lot going on with this card but it was so fun to make and the best part is my FIL loved it!

Now head on over to the challenge blog and check out the gorgeous creations by the other team members!

Thanks so much for stopping by... I will see you tomorrow!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
