Transportation...

Good morning everyone!
It's time for a new challenge at Moving Along With The Times.

This week it's my turn to host the challenge and I chose the theme...
TRANSPORTATION
So think Planes, Trains and Automobiles and any form of transportation will do... Bikes, Boats, Hot Air Balloons etc.

I decided to make a couple of Father's Day cards with Tim Holtz "The Journey" stamp set...
On my first card I used the vintage truck, ticket and receipt from the set- they are stamped with Black Onyx ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. The bg is embossed with the Paper Studio Gears folder and the polka-dot paper is from Bazzill. The key and gears were cut with Tim Holtz dies and the sentiment is from Hero Arts. I used Vintage Photo Distress ink for the distressing and the metal round clip is from my stash.

For my second card I stamped the vintage car with VersaMark ink and embossed it with black embossing powder. The bg is embossed with the Paper Studio Postage Stamp folder and I used Pumice Stone Distress ink for the distressing. The key charm and screw brads are from my stash.

That's all for now... thanks so much for stopping by and don't forget to pop on over to the challenge blog to see the fabulous creations by the other team members!

Two lovely cards but I do prefer the one with the orangey background. The images seem to 'pop' more. Both great though. Hazel L. x

Two great masculine designs, the cards aren't similar even though you've used some of the same elements for the cards. I love posts like these, they're so inspirational and shows that one can create very different looks using the same materials.
